I’ve just ordered this from Smallrig. Whilst waiting for it to come in, I started experimenting with other ways to attach it to my rig. Easily my favourite is my Neewer clamp attached to a Smallrig cold shoe mount. Unlike the Manfrotto friction arm, the clamp on the Neewer friction arm has rubber pads. Something so small, but I love it because the Anker Power Bank is very heavy and long. Tried to use an iPhone holder with it and it is so easy to knock out.

I can tell you that for the longest time we have been talking to power bank manufacturers to create a power bank designed for photographers/videographers. Maybe we will succeed eventually - our goal is to have a power bank that has like a cage with 1/4" 20 with Arri pins all over - this way you can attach it to any rig. There is nothing like this on the market now but I hope to convince at least one manufacturer to make this.

Looks fantastic. I wonder how you attach that sound device on top of tripod.

Easy - it has an RC2 plate on the bottom (and an RC2 base on top).

@@IddoGenuth I would like to attach Maxoak K2 like Lensvid did to his audio device. Here's the link to MAXOAK K2 www.amazon.com/MAXOAK-50000mAh-Portable-Charger-External/dp/B00YP823NA/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=maxoak+k2&qid=1613719906&sr=8-1. And then my sony fdr-ax53 on top of that.

Do you know is it possible to power few items from one bank?
For example, my powerbank has 2 usb outputs, but if I connect second item (monitor + dummy battery in camera) it suddenly turns off.

The answer is YES. However, it depends on your battery and the devices that you are trying to power. We have been testing several batteries with many of our accessories recently and it is not simple at all, not all configurations work and some work but has some issues or limitations. Keep an eye on the channel in the next few weeks we shall publish an interesting review of a new power bank that we have been using and what we could power with it.

Check how wide the battery is - if it is wider than 87mm than no - if it is between 87 and 90mm maybe this one will work:

1:10 this is a good idea, at the same time it gave me another idea to do it with a perforated steel profile and some 1/4 nut to fasten and then with another nut fasten the left end with the right so that it grips the battery the length will depend on the size of the battery and finally wrap it in something similar to insulating tape that looks like vinyl tape to avoid damaging the battery or camera and cables, in fact I did something similar for a ball of tools to hang my hammer , but I did not think that it would be useful for the battery , thank you very much , I practically have all the materials I only need the 1/4 screws to attach to the ULANZI GAP GRID II support
