It's to bad that they had water issues, I know what that's like. Hopefully there were no injuries to anyone related to this incident. Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the citizens of your coverage area.
Does anyone know anything about the fire in NY on Friday that injured 10 Firefighters? I sure do hope all of them a safe healing!! I'm also glad that in this video, that they moved that Firetruck!!
Why do these friggin Depts expose their men to so many needless dangers. If you are using master-streams, Use 21/2 for defensive work so the guys can stay further back. Those piss-ant 1 1/2-1 3/4 lines have no reach, especially if 1 man is holding line. Safety first.
Wish I could give this 50 up-votes, but YT won't let me. If you have an opening and dark black smoke is forcing it's way out - as seen in several parts of this video - stick one or more 2 1/2's in it. You have too much fire that is very very hot. Without a 2 1/2, you have no chance of controlling a fire for hours. Now there was an indication of water supply issues, so I will cut them some slack. You see that the water quality coming out of the ladder pipes is clearly not something you would want to drink, so the water system is likely very old and not in good shape. That is something the city will have to deal with in time..
So many cities run by corrupt idiotic Dems have serious $ issues. Most Depts have been cut to the bone, and now add water issues. In 80s in NY we had the Firefighters Quarterly magazine. One of the writers did research showing the horrific effects FD shortfalls had on lives and property in NY, especially in the Poorer Neighborhoods. So sad those dogs keep stealing elections. Poor Chicago has had decades of high numbers of shootings, yet no one ever stops it@@hvfd5956
Just a note. It's good recording but it's pointless to show the rising smoke or whatever is not related to the fire. The flag is very patriotic but provides no information. Always do your best to find a good angle and then use a tripod to secure the camera. That way everyone can see what progress is made.

Great coverage.
Glad they moved Truck 2. Dangerous placement at first.

Quick set up. Very aggressive firefighting. Other than initially placing the one truck in harm's way. Very good response. Pawtucket FD, Great job.
