Thank You Matt For sharing this Fire, We are Very sad for The Family's and are Very Thankful for All Our First responders. Keeping us Safe and Making us proud. Stay safe Dizzy.
@udizzy1969 We Firefighters certainly appreciate all that YOU and Matt do for us! Even though I am OOA in Northeast Essex county Mass the work that Matt and you do are very appreciated everywhere! You guys help keep US safe and always make US proud!💪🍀
The fire department did a great job getting this under control. Looks like it was very windy. It could have gotten more out of control than it did because of the wind.
From what I've heard, no injuries besides a minor burn to one of the Firefighter's hands. Someone saw a presumed arsonist and woke everyone up and got them to evacuate.
Excellent shots. That is scary, it took 4 minutes for that building to become fully involved. Think about it . Could you get your children awake, your animals out grab your purse and down the stairs and away from the building in four? Those ladders trucks are a beautiful thing.
Responding to mrbluecolar00 First i have no connection to the SFD The amateur video at the beginning is what they encountered on arrival Maybe in your metropolis they can respond with 10 pieces of equipment SFD probably had 5-6 firemen on duty at the time and their 1st alarm response is an engine and tower or ladder truck Yes, they have both That neighborhood is tightly congested and full of 3 and 6 family dwellings The engine was probably out of sight in the amateur video Guess you didn’t notice the stream being applied to the house Proud resident of Southbridge
Boston triple deckers but those are what similar to garden style with that common attic space so got get lines ahead of apts on fire pull those ceilings get Co in there 21/2 lines knock that fire down

@@lablaine1981 Yup, Southbridge has a very small Fire Department. There were trucks all along the adjacent street, Charlton, Sturbridge, some Western MA, even CT.

No wonder why this got out of control. First piece of apparatus was a fucking ladder truck 🤦
You certainly seem to enjoy making yourself look foolish 🤣

It's actually because MA has been under red flag brush fire warnings for like weeks.
