Tip for next time: maybe you could turn up the bass a little bit, i feel like that would give a more punchy feel to these covers. Also question: did you do the drums to this, im a drummer myself and im very impressed on how good they sound
Thanks for the feedback! Mixing/setting the right level for the bass is always one of the hardest parts for me. I don't like too much bass personally, but I also understand the importance of it, and it's always a struggle... I'll take note for the future though. I definitely feel like lately I've been turning the bass down a bit more than I probably should have. As for drums, these are not "real" drums, no. I do believe a good drum part often makes the song/track, so I usually spend a decent amount of time making the drum track (using both premade midi loops and some additional programming/editing, although as a non-drummer I have to rely on the former more). I'm really happy you think these sound good enough!
