Do these women exist anymore!
Her image is perfect. What is the person?
This is Sade. 80s would not be complete without this incredible voice and amazing lady.
Amen
Dont forget about instruments….
I don't think she's wearing a bra with that backless top!! How LEWD!
So glad she never let herself be turned into just another pop singer.

I grew up in that era. Artists were able to have integrity in those days, they were treated with respect. Same with Annie Lennox. Even if they were successful artists they could still have a private life and live like normal people.
That would've never happened in the first place she already had so much fame and success because of her authenticity
@@dkncd Authenticity has nothing to do with it. The industry these days is different. The artists are forced to sell out or they get nowhere.
Beauty - no one can control
She’s absolutely timeless.
If it was any more 80s she'd have a mullet.

Sade's Live Aid 1985 performance is an absolute masterpiece! 🌟 No one does it like her - timeless, captivating, and pure class. Her voice echoes through history, leaving an indelible mark. 🎤💥 #Sade #IsItACrime #IconicPerformance
She will never die.🤗
Unmistakable voice. You'd recognize it anywhere without even seeing her sing.
It's like velvet.

Today’s so called queens of rnb, soul and jazz couldn’t even stand in her shadow. Pure class, beauty packed in a humble personality.
None of today’s “ singers “ can touch her

I’m truly captivated by how beautiful she is here. No Botox, no lip fillers just raw natural beauty. Her voice is like silk
She was, and still is, utterly breathtaking. The personification of grace, beauty, talent and elegance.
@@pauledmonds3249 well Said 🙆 🇬🇧 ❤
She was in her 20's here. No need for cosmetic surgery
nothing wrong with botox and lip fillers it's whatever makes you happy
It’s a pity (for me) that just about every single song is about romance which is something I just can’t relate to.
Sade Adu is now 65 years old….but she is timeless to me. Her vhs tape used to be my vibe setting music at get togethers back in the day❤
Admired for always... Wonderful Lady...
So smokey. Just thick, smooth smoke, great tone, timing. Gutsy. I keep coming back to gutsy. A unique talent. Her alto is so deep and cuts to my core. Is it a crime? Yes. Guilty. I’m so guilty. 😊
she held that audience in the palm of her hand - you could hear a pin drop - real presence...wow!
Trips me out this is 1985.
While I liked her.
Had never heard this, plus this Live version is INCREDIBLE. Love her

Excuse the typo-error. Thank you. Humanity.❤
So classy. No cleavage showin'. No tight fit get-up. Just a soulful beautiful voice that sounds as good live as it does in the studio recordings. Blemish-free voice, face, vibe, movements. The most soulful artist of all time. Argue with ya mom.
She was born to enlighten our world with her precious velvet voice and beauty!
Very well said ☺️!
@@marccano5061 thank you!
This is just plain sick! Her voice could conquer nations! This performance is absolutely superlative 💀
One of her eyelashes is worth more in talent than most so-called "entertainers" today.
❤👍👍👍👍👍
😁😁😁
No fake lashes on her ..
What a voice, there will never be another voice like my Sade,. She in a class by her self, beautiful and fine
you're right! Her voice to me contains all the sensuality as well as the soul and heart can be found in a woman's voice..
Silky, Silky, Silky!!
Picture this: Live Aid, 1985. The stage was set, and Sade stepped into the spotlight, a beacon of timeless elegance. Relajante😊
Full class. Doesn't need to get practically naked like so many so called famous singers think they need to, to get rating. Endless talent and dignity ❤
It's a crime that somebody has such a voice and is so beautiful.
LOL - yeah, but at least we can admire greatness when we see it, and enjoy the ride
No, it's more a crime there aren't more talented singers out here today that come just a fraction close to her Greatness. Facts.
Getting on for forty years ago and still sounds so cool
Nice to be able to relive another piece of one of the more memorable days of my life. So far.... 👌
Lady that’s responsible for more babies born in late 80-90s than any other 😅
And later the listening of Sade make babies stop to cry and have a nap ❤
Ohhh ya u can say that again !!!!
I'm so glad she shared her beautiful voice with the world.
In the grand tapestry of musical history, envision Live Aid, 1985. Sade, a beacon of timeless elegance, strides onto the stage. Her voice, smooth as silk, resonates through Wembley Stadium, intertwining with the symphony of talent that surrounds her. This isn't just a chapter; it's a resounding anthem confidently etched into the annals of music. Sade and her band, the maestros of that moment, boldly painted the air with notes that transcend time.
Performing for a worthy cause her songs are off the charts ❣️
This is the most beautiful woman I’ve seen. My favorite female artist ever
You can feel her music in your soul!!!
And your sentence can be returned.. you can feel your soul in her music.. I would even say : you FIND your soul in her (in fact "their") music..
Sade's Live Aid 1985 performance is a personal favorite of mine! 🌟 I can't help but be amazed by her timeless, captivating, and pure class. Her voice echoes through history, leaving an indelible mark. 🎤💥 #Sade #IsItACrime #IconicPerformance
She’s still my favorite artist since the 80s 💜
I was 19 when I watched this live on TV and I’d forgotten what a flawless performance this was. Stunning!
I was 18. Yes, it was. She changed much in me. Still one of my very few favourites in music.
@@AndrzejKam same for me! timeless Goddess.
Same here. I was eleven and couldn't grasp that beauty yet anywhoo...lol. Looking back at it... seen from the year 2024 pov.... It's like with architecture, cars.. we are losing a very important trait we have as a human : to create beauty. She really resembles so much qualities that are fading away, all in one person.
Not only is Sade an outstanding performer, but her band is tight, esp the bass player.
No mobile phones, Heaven!
Still get goosebumps almost 40 years later.

i wish she does concerts still..
Sade has a voice that is so smooth ,it is lights out sensitive, almost intoxicating. Forever in love with the sound of smooth jazz.
Such an exciting talent 👏🎉
Amazing voice ladies and gentlemen.
Everyone wants to talk about how great Queen's set was, but don't realize how absolutely flawless her's was 😳🥰
TRUE!!!
she doesn't need over belting or riffs to be great. her soft, charismatic voice alone is enough.
This is her best song of all time. So smooth, passionate and sexy and the sax just kills it.
I would say this is THE best song of all time..!
That's debatable. I've always been partial to Smooth Operator.
@@OMGWTFLOLSMH that's a good one too. Matthewman sax kills it on both songs... ❤️❤️❤️
@@OMGWTFLOLSMH Sorry but there's no comparison possible ! smooth operator is a killer song of course with a fucking groove and a part of nostalgia which makes it a sort of drug but "is it a crime " by.its length, intensity changes, the importance of every instruments (sax, horns, bass, keybords, ) and the way they melt with her voice that contains SO much feeling, with all those breaks in the song , make it an unexampled masterpiece, which to me make it much much better and overwhelming than any other..
@@sebasdebordeaux8347 this and Jezebel are two of the richest songs they did, Stewart’s sax and Sade’s voice drive both songs to great heights 💜💗💃🏻🎷
I have been listening to Sade since I was in my mother’s womb. I’d know her voice anywhere, like the gates of heaven.
True Class here!!!!! Today’s singers have forgotten the Art of Staying Classy on Stage
For 4 years, I feel asleep to Sade's "Love Deluxe" CD starting in 1993. So relaxing. I can't say it compares to her other albums. 'Love Deluxe' is special to me. My daughter was conceived while it played.
Probably my all time favorite!! Such a huge talent and a voice like silk!!
She has more class and talent in her little finger than most artists today. We're thankful we have Miss Helen Folasade Adu
❤❤❤🎉🎉
i want to go back to the 80s. best time of my life
I'll "second" that!!👍👍
This is bad-ass!!! I did not know she performed at Live-Aid!!!!

Back when life was still good.
Sade has more class in her handkerchief than today's 'artists', and a million times more talent.
Seriously? Have you heard Justin Bieber's "Ooh, baby, baby! Ooh, baby, baby, baby!!"? A timeless classic to transcend the ages.

Each time I see this performance, I remember back to the first time-a rowdy, hot and very large crowd became mesmerized for Sada. Some performers were rocking the arena, but and even then, some paid no mind. It was an event, 2 continents. But the Band Sada came out, with the elegant Sada (Helen) at the mic, and some did not know her, but everyone was drawn in. That slight lovely women controlled this crowd of thousands. Some will say that they took the oppurtunity to take a "bathroom" break. If so, they were very regretful later. Much love to Helen and Sada
Listening to Sade may cause babies to happen. Don't say I didn't warn you.
😂 Spot on!
🤣🤣😅
I'm 58.
I'm a musician and always loved her.
The way she sings is absolute not easy to accomplish:
She doesn't hide behind tremolo, bendings a.s.o.
To leave the most notes like a tone of a pushed piano note,
needs absolute training, knowledge.
There was no autotune used.
Now, listening to her life here on RUclips, shows me even more clear, she nailed it!!!
Thank you! I wanted to write something similar but don't have the words. The fact she does not have to 'warble' to end notes says masses to me.
La Sensualidad hecha Mujer calidad de voz
Sade has that rare ability to sound like she is singing 3 parts at the same time...
Best explained, very unique voice and style....blessed
Her enunciation is unique!
Her voice is smooth, rich and earthy. I’ve been a fan for four decades. Once heard never forgotten. Sade.
Exactly.
She's a Queen
Sade was arguably the most talented singer at the entire event
The Queen of coolness - stunningly beautiful and a fantastic vocalist.
Loving her since 1984. Shit, I am getting old and I never get tired of Sade. What a talent and beauty.
Got Diamond Life the summer it was released in 84. Always been in a class by herself.
Love all the instruments sounds so full, like Earth, Wind and Fire.
Yes, as incredible as she is, the band is every bit as incredible. They are one of the best live experiences I have ever seen.
Cade o retorno dela? Que mulher, sras!❤️
I love Sade! Her band, Sweetback, has 3 GREAT albums out themselves!
What a gem, what an absolute gem. The powerful vocal, musicians enjoying the moment, the dynamics, the sax solo, the interlaced picture. A window into the past.
Fantastic 🔥
All her mannerisms in the whole performance , I felt it to the core of my heart. I shed a tear when she said surely you’ll want me too. Such beautiful and amazing music wow
When people used to enjoy the music. Now smartphones record all the time and people don't enjoy it!
Exactly. Also, audiences did not treat every song like a massive drunken karaoke, drowning out the singers with their crap 'singing'. They wanted to hear the singers, so they kept QUIET.
I am the same age as Sade and have always LOVED her music and singing and her orchestra!! Simply jaw dropping!! We are lucky to have lived thru this era!! ❤❤❤❤
Sade exemplifies the word "exquisite".
Horn section was perfectly understated. This performance by her and the band is a masterclass in dynamics.
No tengo palabras.... Siempre eterna.

Everyone still talks about Queen and Bono at Live Aid, but I think Sade, Duran Duran and Ultravox were the highlights of this amazing event!
Ultravox!!!! One of my favorites from my youth. Midge Ure has such an amazing voice.
Agreed. Especially U-Vox !
@@brentwalker3300 I just bumped into Midge Ure a few weeks ago, in Germany.
Actually not himself, but I stayed at the same hotel. As I went to my car, I had a chat with his bus driver, who showed me the lower deck of the tour bus. Not super interesting, but as you mentioned him, I thought I could tell my little story here.
Madonna was great, too...
@@spaceengineer1452 Madonna gets no love. Maybe JFK was more open, woukd have had closed in Wembley rocking.

Sade is a wonderful singer😊
I was 18 years old when I first heard it. Then, of course, I was more attracted just by the voice. A lot of time passed, I began to understand music, after listening to this composition now, I will say that it is very cool, wonderful arrangement, performance, voice, you can listen to it all the time
She is a legend. I need a time machine to join that concert back in the 80ties! Her shy "bye bye thanks" at the end was such a honeysweet understatement.
The best decade and musical pop talents in the history of this planet.
Incredible talent & beauty! But also LOVE how classy she & her band look. Truly one of a kind!
