My goodness! Christian is so blessed to have you as parents! It's those little changes in behaviour that only someone completely tuned into their asd child can notice. I have the same issue with my asd boy. I am NEVER wrong when I see the slightest change. Always trust your instinct. Caretakers mean well, but they don't know your child better than you. I'm glad you insisted. Bless you all. Hugs to your little trooper!! ❤❤❤

When my 34 year old son was 10 years old, he had the same symptoms. He had pain on his right side and he also had a fever. I trusted my gut that his symptoms were serious. I took him to urgent care and they referred us over to the ER where they found out he had appendicitis. He was admitted to the hospital and the next morning, he had it taken out. Now I know what to look for when it comes to the symptoms. I'm glad you guys were able to get him treated and that it didn't rupture. Now, my son, the oldest of six kids is not on the spectrum and he can speak, so it was easy for him to tell me what he was feeling. My 9 year old, the youngest, is the non-verbal one.

I’m so happy he’s ok now 🙏🏾. Everything is 10x harder with our special needs kiddos. My daughter is also non verbal and everything is a guessing game and me trusting my gut.

OMG.....I'm so glad Christian is doing better! The instincts of parents is always spot on. Hugo called that one...great job dad! It's so hard when children can't verbally communicate something is off. Parents know when their children aren't feeling/doing well. God bless you are and stay strong. Sending prayers your way!❤🙏🏼

Christian is so smart, our children will always let us know in some way that they are uncomfortable or they are in pain verbal or nonverbal. Mama bears also since and feel when something is off and take action. Still praying for Christian 🙏❤️😊

I am glad that you know how to advocate for Christian. I find that sometimes doctors dismiss parents because they think they know better. However, when you have a child with special needs, only those who are closest to that child truly know when something is not right. I have a daughter with autism and I advocate for my daughter 💯 and listen to my instinct at all times.

Saludos.

That is sooo scary , pobrecito Christian 😔. It’s so difficult to see our kiddos in pain more hurtful when they can’t tell us. I’m glad Christian is doing better! 🙏🏻 My daughter is also autistic and she has a high pain tolerance so we always have to keep an eye out when she’s sick.

These days you must push Doctors to take more time with their patients, they are quick to assume there's nothing wrong and send em home. Good job Mama on sticking with your gut and pushing the Doctors to pay attention and listen! Any caregiver that does this is a hero in my book!🙂❤️

From the very first clip were Christian was hunched over on his side I was like, "Apendecitis!!!" I only say that from my own experience. Your theory about the colonoscopy could be correct because that is actually a VERY delicate process. The fluids must be correct and there is all kinds of....pressure...involved, for lack of a better term. I know this because prostate cancer runs in my family. I'm glad lil dude is ok!!!!

    • @ROCKNSTIMS
