They have permanently closed but they have a cookbook!
Went there the other day, new owners, new name, all baked goods and foods are the exact same as always and same recipes!
Sad to update y’all, this place has closed their doors after decades of service.
Halepaskas is amazing If you are going from the coast towards houston give it a try

I am 60 and grew up in Cali but my mom used to make cookies very similar to the Buffalo Chip that they make..........
I’ve grown up eating here all my life countless birthday parties have had Halepaskas cakes or cookies & they also have soups & sandwiches that are awesome as well!
crispix cereal in a cookie....Damn want to try that!
I just want to see the smile of that little angel at the end of clip one more time. I wish I had a daughter like her.
i live in Victoria and i go there all the time come check it all out i sure it will satisfy your cravings for sweets its great
