My experience on flying the Denver Air Connection Fairchild Metroliner to Alliance, Nebraska from Denver and back. Thanks to the genius that I am, The plane nearly left Nebraska without me.
For pricing, since it's an essential air service I paid $108 USD roundtrip

Probably have 3000 hrs flying metro’s (both II and the III, mostly single pilot)….its a plane I enjoyed as it always made you work and pay attention. Overbuilt, over engineered, it’s interesting that the plane you rode on had the 5 bladed composite prop modification….the typical prop on the III is a 4 bladed aluminum prop. The chief advantages are lower noise, lighter weight (allows for better, more reliable engine starts on battery power when needed, and a bit more usable load, important for cargo but impossible to use with passengers unless flying maximum range). Glad you enjoyed your flight!

That’s awesome! I’m glad you enjoyed flying it! Easily the most interesting aircraft I’ve flown on as a passenger. The panel did feel ahead for its time though but that may have only been me lol

Flying with the power of two Garrett TPE331s made in Phoenix Arizona right down the street from my house. Stone reliable, original airbrushed cutaway rendering by Woody Biscoe master airbrush artist. I worked there as an artist before moving on and creating all 50 states graphics for U Haul Co trucks and trailers. There still out there.

I think 882DC was built in 1996. I used to fly its sister ship 892DC and i believe that was a 1995 built bird

Oh nice. It probably didn’t get delivered until 1997 then from when I did the research for it.
