You should have fought with the insurance - they regularly deny things just because they know people will give up. You have to appeal the decision. Also, if you had not gotten the reduction, you'd probably be way bigger than before the surgery after kids.
Thank you for sharing your jourmey. What I got from it is that you don't actually regret the surgery. You just regret to have it done before you had kids. That's very good advice to consider, I hope you and your family is doing fine, now that the video is 3 years ago. Have a nice day!

Thank you so much for sharing this, I have a very similar situation like what you started with (I’m pretty thin, early 20s, very uneven, I’m a DDD/E, causes me chronic back pain) and based on what I’ve researched I think I’ll wait until after I have kids. This was really helpful! Also your daughter is too cute 💕

I had no idea breast reduction surgery could be so expensive!
I don't think they are supposed to be if you go to a doc that doesn't try to scam insurance companies 😂🤷🏻♀️
it depends on how much of a diff you want to make and also doctors will end up scamming insurance if you do that way
So would you have waited until after kids and gone down to a A or B? Or just have not gotten it at all?
I think it would of depended on what my body did after kids. Right now I'm a D after kids but I don't know if my breast reduction had anything to do with that. My mom, after she had my older brother was a triple E. So if I would of gotten that big I probably would of had too. I still would love to be probably a B. Since I went back up in size after my kids. I am happy that they are both proportional to each other 😂
I was a 32 DD before I had my daughter and now I’m at a 32 G after breastfeeding for 2 years. I’ve been thinking about having a reduction but going to wait until after next baby to decide. I would love to be down to a B or C.
@@AlyssaNikole I'd say get a consultation. It definitely doesn't hurt. If you are worried about breastfeeding or anything like that. I think every body is different and since you have already had kids, you may have better luck. My mom had a reduction before she had me and she didnt have any issues breastfeeding. I am happy I did it for certain reasons but sad about the size I was given even immediately after surgery and the breastfeeding complications. But they don't happen for everyone.
Oh I read that as you wanted it before you had your next baby 🤦♀️ either way though that would be my advice hahahaha.
Haha yeah I get ya. We are having just one more so after that baby I will definitely look into to it when I am done breastfeeding. They really do hurt and they are so heavy and hard to love lol I just want small boobs ugh wish I could move fat around in my body bc I’d send it to my butt and be happy 😂
I understand how you felt , i have large breasts and it is hard to simply find a shirt that fits .. its such a struggle everyday, I also have been thinking about a breast Reduction due to posture and back problems ! But I do want to wait until I have all my kids , luckily my doctor mentioned that to me so I didn't make the mistake of doing it before kids.
I definitely regret it. But at 19 I didnt think it would of been an issue. I was lucky enough to be able to pump. But neither of my girls were able to pull milk from me. It was such a sad thing for me!! So yes! Definitely recommend waiting!!!!
Paige McDivitt that is sad .. i breastfed both my kids , and i definitely want to breastfeed my others , i cried when my son stopped breastfeeding .. he was 8 months 😅 it’s definitely hard on a mom .. happy you were at least able to give your girls your milk 🙂
