That thermal view is nuts.
Thinking the same
Swear I saw heated sidewalks.
Seems like it's IR by the display. Likely artifacts would be from light reflections
You can run, but you can not hide.
Don't say you want me, don't say you need me. Don't say you love me. It's understood. Don't say you're happy, out there without me; I know you can't be, 'cause it's no good.
You can, sadly. Most these incidents go unanswered. I only lived in Portland for a year, and while it wasn't nearly as bad as it is now, the writing was on the wall.
Yes you can.
Just move to Meth land Portland
@@nunzionapoli6325 There's more meth across rural America, just like in Portland. It's a scourge.
"The driver, Arinoldo B. Cruz-Garcia, 23, was arrested on seven charges, including unlawful use of a weapon and driving under the influence for alcohol consumption. The passenger Ahanu M. Johnson, 21, was arrested on four charges, including unlawful use of a weapon and recklessly endangering another person." Usual suspects....
Why did I suspect that alcohol was involved? LOL
Thank you PPD. Nice copter video, and audio.
It’s a military grade drone. All the Denverites under 24 hr surveillance by Uncle Sam.
@@akshunwill Nope. It's a fixed-wing Cessna the Portland Police Department has up in the air... A LOT! It can be followed using their ADS-B data.
They're both home now watching this on tv and looking back on this as the most inconvenient part of their day
They're in jail. And will stay there until trial and conviction sends them to prison for a nice long stretch.
Probably filling out their democrat ballots as we speak.

But why not? Oregon prosecutors and lawmakers seem to be allowing these individuals to go unpunished.

But why not? Oregon prosecutors and law makers are letting these folks go.
They really are. Makes one think if the city is paying these people to do this.

A lot of us commented in the 2005-10 with such an influx of Californians and there attitude. People in the NW was laxed, happy and free. Then it all started to change and here we are. ANTIFA, Proud Boys' Christian Nationalism... came to the NW. Now look at Portland and the NW.
Washington and Oregon have some wildly restrictive pursuit policies ! These guys are actually shooting and aren’t pursued and I watched a guy in Kent, Washington car jack two different vehicles and the police broke off pursuit multiple times, I’m all for public safety but sometimes you have to chase people so they don’t continue to victimize the public
"These guys are actually shooting and aren’t pursued.."
Which is 100% a total lie. The "bear in the air" told the PPD where they were going. There was ZERO need for a "high speed" pursuit when they could box them in using aerial guidance.
High-speed pursuits are for knuckle-draggers.

Hard to believe people in Porto-potty land are sober enough to write a half sentence. 😮
Who do some people who have zero attachment to a situation try to include themselves with statements like "we were nearby" "that's down the street from us" "we were just there 10 min ago"? If you weren't directly involved, then stfu!
They probably have been released already with no bail in portland.
The speed to which she relayed the house address was kind of scary...

I think you two need to have a conversation about physical fitness and sense of urgency if that's as fast as you two can move in an emergency.. @ThomasShields-eh6cm
We were pushing bikes duh of course we can move faster than that
oh thank god you saved the bikes! ;P heaven forbid that guy had a gun and was randomly shooting it in the area or something, haha. @@ThomasShields-eh6cm

If Government actually Want less Gun crime? they would actually punish the criminal and Not attack the Law-Abiding Citizens Gun right

Bet they are drug dealers.
Nice job police, but why would you work for a city that told you to your face that they don’t care about you.
Your leaders are putting your lives at risk.
No penalties for criminals, and it’s only a matter of time before we lose an officer.
The police did their job let's see if the district attorney will just let them go
Why even go through all of this trouble ? They’re just going to release them the next day if not that same night,
Recording all of their info. All of their info and other statistics. They or the driver just needs a visit from you and your little friend.
I can only imagine how much more outraged people would've been about Uvalde if the cops had sent a helicopter and stayed off school grounds altogether. That makes it all the more baffling that Portland Police first dispatched a helicopter to what was very clearly an active shooter situation. It's even more baffling that a ground unit took up pursuit and then abandoned it rather than using lethal force to counter the imminent lethal threat. But it's Portland, where every little thing the police do is brutality, and our lovely Portlander friends probably support the fact that this active shooter was allowed to walk away unscathed.
100 bucks they’re juveniles or young adults
Arinoldo B. Cruz-Garcia, 23, of Gresham, Oregon and Ahanu M. Johnson, 21, of Fairview, Oregon and it seems Mr Johnson already has a lawsuit against him from last year for assault and battery.

Defund the police. Where's the cops? It took FOREVER to get people shooting guns stopped
They are prohibited from pursuing thanks to leftist politicians in Portland.
De-funded? When? The actual Portland Police budget:
2020: $229 million
2021: $230 million ⬆
2022: $249 million ⬆
2023: $261 million ⬆
Yeah, down from $241M in 2019, $231M in 2018. I think it's gross that you'd leave out that kind of relevant information. Population increased, crime increased, yet we cut their funding.
