Imagine putting 5 ounces of the Adams in the foam cannon. The only reason Gyeon was even close was because they recommend putting so much into the cannon. Mega foam wins again.
I just tried the Gyeon and have to say that it’s what’re shedding is fantastic! It’s like adding wax to your car. I know it’s expensive and I did not mix per instructions and went lean but still produced a lot of foam. Can’t wait to try the Adam’s next.
People commenting here are uneducated on car soaps.. You CANNOT compare the two soaps. One is a prewash with high pH (alkaline) soap whereas the adams megafoam is a pH neutral soap only good for contact washing. If you were to truly test the cleaning capabilities of each soap regardless of foam thickness (hardly a measure of cleaning ability), Gyeon wins HANDS DOWN. Derp.
Great video and all but it'd be nice to see something other than what they look like...I'm sure damn near any decent quality foam will look great on a vehicle, but it'd be nice to see a panel taped off into 2 sections so we could see how much dirt runs off, for example. It's not much to go on simply seeing foam that looks like foam and knowing one smells better and is cheaper.
Thanks for the suggestion but to find dirty vehicles where I could equally test this amount of soaps in a fair way with equal contamination amount and contamination type was not practical. Every car is dirty with different contamination type and amounts. If I tested different soaps on various levels and types of contamination everyone would have said one car was dirtier than the other and it’s not fair so I just left that part out. I also did not want to just pour a bunch of soaps on the side of a car as this was a foam cannon soap series. Most of these soaps I tested are PH neutral and will require an Agitation wash. To get real cleaning power for a no touch style wash you would want a more aggressive soap. Most people do not want aggressive soaps because they are prone to strip off waxes and toppings and also leave spots if not handled correctly. Hope that clarifies my foam battle videos. Thanks for watching
Based on price and thickness Adams hands down, oh smell too lol. I always look to see if the snow foams can close the panel gaps. Adams does it every time.
@@jarkkokokkonen1237 Well, I pre wash with foam and I foam each panel before washing with a Lamb's wool wash mitt. I may use a high pH soap for the pre wash and a thick foam soap for the contact wash, depends on the situation. When I am washing one of my expensive ceramic coated vehicles I want a really thick foam. When I'm washing my brother's truck that hasn't been washed in a few months, I want a high PH soap and from my experiences are a little runny, at least the ones I use. Hope you get my point. Take care.
the only comment here that makes sense. nobody here knows what gyeon foam is for. The author is comparing apples to orange.. If the title was which cleans better, it's HANDS DOWN gyeon d/t to the alkaline ph levels of the gyeon foam. Megafoam is a ph neutral soap and does not do nearly as much. Mainly for contact washing for lubricity.
Why are you ranking car soap based on what it looks and smells like going on? How does each do on removing dirt and protecting the paint? Otherwise this info is important for posting vids to instagram
I did the video because I enjoyed it. That’s why I do most things in life. Most PH neutral soaps have a similar cleaning power so with my tests I wanted to show the things that are different when cleaning power is the same. If I were testing high PH cleaners I would test the cleaning ability.

Jeeze. The cost per wash alone damn-near makes Adam’s the winner. But then you add in the smell and I don’t know about anyone else, but I personally thought Adam’s wasn’t as ‘runny’ after applying, whereas Gyeon was. I appreciate the suds to stay caked on longer rather than sooner due to me going around the vehicle with a detail brush, getting all of the dirt, dust, and grime out of all of the seams, nooks, and crannies. With those two additional things, the winner here for me is Adam’s. Hands down.
I would definitely say the Adams due to price alone! .93 cents a wash, that's not that bad. I'm a big scent guy and scent does make a big difference to me. Of course it has to work good too, but I do like good smelling products.
