Robin was the only reason why I watched Titans. I get that the show "Titans" is about the team of Titans, but I absolutely hated all the other characters aside from Dawn and Hawk. I skipped through the scenes that didn't involve Robin and I honestly believe, Robin with this actor, could pull off a movie all on his own. Good casting for this Robin. Good Choreography. Good writing and I liked the conflict within him. Makes sense given everything that character's been through.
Totally agree! With him it felt like the show was on Netflix's "Daredevil"/"Punisher" level, both in terms of the tone, acting, and choreography, while everything else felt like CW DC level. I'm talking shit like those godawful "Smallville," "Heroes of Tomorrow," and "Black Lightening" tv shows. Arrow started off great, the first two seasons were phenomenal, (partly cuz i expected the show to be dog-shit, so it blew my expectations outa the water, (especially the Deathstroke/Slade story-arc). After that the show dropped in quality massively. I also wasn't a fan of "The Flash" show, but I was never a fan of the Flash to begin with - and others really loved it apparently. I really like this shows' rendition of the Deathstroke arc as well. Both the acting performance, the storyline, as well as the fight choreography - made Slade the only other character that was legit badass in this series - other than Grayson. So i guess he was the only exception to this show's characters. That said, i still had my complaints with his portrayal, the first being the fact that, despite being better than the Arrow's version of Deathstroke, the suit/costume was still on the cheap-looking side. But, my biggest gripe i had/have was how short they both were. I mean, they weren't tiny or anything, just not nearly as big as he should have been. Both certainly had very intimidating persona's, but physically speaking, they just weren't big and imposing enough imo. While both were muscular, but were more stocky looking than anything else - and didn't tower over everyone like in the comics and animated films/shows, (not just the Teen-Titans, who were just that - teenagers still, but he also towered over most adult super-heroes as well). Slade isn't massively muscle-bound, but were still very chiseled and muscular looking - but due to his height, he always appeared sort of lanky/slender, (much like Deadpool, while definitely being bigger looking that him too). Both actors did a great job acting wise, with Arrow's version coming off as pretty much the Aussie version of Bernthal's the Punisher on Netflix, both in terms of his size and body-type, but also in terms of his Bernthal's over-the-top portrayal of Frank Castle. Slade, not only was a super-soldier, he was also a really big dude, not massive, but always looks at least as tall or even taller than Batman, let alone the Green Arrow or Robin/Nightwing. He's got to be at least 6'2" in my book, preferably more like 6'3" or 6'4" even, and both actors were either average in height, or even slightly shorter - 5'10" or 5'11" max. That's simply not big and imposing enough imo. Hope one day we'll see him brought into a big-budget movie, cuz he's my fav comic-book character of all time! Anyways sorry bout the rant lol
@@8301TheJManI just now these days favor MA rated movies. More swearing, more gore and serious dark scenes. The flash I kinda enjoyed but it was more action and drama rather than gore which is why it marked as TV 14 Same as others but Arrow yes all through the seasons from 1-6 I liked and rest I didn’t but watched anyways. Idgaf about legends of tomorrow, it’s like doom patrol, shit don’t make sense. They go on quests and deal with odd villains and weird situations which is not sensible Compared to dark shows like Titans
Far from a perfect show but I’m grateful for it. My favorite episode was the one with Aqualad. Can’t put a finger on it but it’s the one I go back to watch the most.
that was the whole point of the first couple of seasons, dick Grayson being lost and being manipulated by batman to fight as bloody and gruesome as possible and with all of his rage. In the later seasons you see dick change into nightwing and a personality change from being robin.
The only good thing about titans was robin and dick overall. I hope the next iteration is not as brutal and more light hearted like the comics yet keep that combat sequence strong and consistent with his acrobatic skills. Also did anyone notice how Dick iterates Batman, in that dick is just the mask, when he puts that uniform on he becomes someone else

Nah man you crazy, Raven was great too

Should’ve made it the original teen titans
I loved Dick’s character development. He looked more poised and fearless as opposed to the other incarnations of Robin/Nightwing.

Compared to dark shows like Titans
This Robin is The Best my favorite

I dont recall dick grayson being this violent but, I like the fight style!
The whole show was pretty dark and violent so it made sense
i know hes left Batman at this point but he acts like Batman in these fights

@@ghostraddical1981that's what James gunn dcu batman needs to be
This is what James gunn dcu batman needs to be
Idk how James Gunn is gonna top this version of Robin he’s fucking legit
he'll be using Damian Wayne so thats pretty promising, I think it's gonna be as brutal as X 23 in Logan and Hit Girl in Kick Ass
Why not keep Brenton thwaites as nightwing and have Dylan O'Brien as the red hood would that be cool
James gunn is a joke he wont take things serious he is even a PDF
Best robin ever 🔥
I’m going to miss Brenton as Dick Grayson/Robin/Nightwing
Well there's nothing stopping him from being nightwing in the dcu is it
Grayson the best!
I want a car. Chicks dig the car
This is why Superman works alone.
I may have judged this too harshly, this show being this dark looks amazing!
Now that the real Robin was made from live action we are changing it up a little bit. 😏
1:25 bro there’s no way he didn’t kill this guy 😅
Hopefully the next iteration we see of Dick Grayson has more of his lightheartedness but his combat sequences in this show were never a low point.
Never knew he was that strong
The only good thing about titans was robin and dick overall.

Can be the new batman for the dcu
If it's dick Grayson as batman I'm down for it with Brenton thwaites as dick Grayson aka batman in the dcu
Robin what??!?!?!!?!?!!
А предпоследняя сцена где Робин дерётся с девушкой в каком сезоне и серии была?
Wait dick Grayson dosn’t kill
I dont care i like it 😂
None of them died
This is him before in this universe Bruce training and issues messed up his mental state and he had anger problems and he took it out on bad guys
Best robin ever 🔥
