The original Mic drop doesn’t have that most English in it, but the Steve Aoki version does so they could reach the American audience during that time and have it be played on the radio or in the clubs.
Agree. In my opinion, mic drop original version is way better than the remix and has better lyrics compared to the added English lyrics. It's just my personal preference.
I'm really open-minded so.. Does that make me attractive? Like Idk? I never really thought I was attractive but I agree, being open-minded is really attractive. Does that make me attractive? Sorry oof.
since your friend is a rapper, you should let him listen/react to more of the rapline mixtape such as *agust d* , *joke by rm* , *ddaeng* , *airplane by jhope* & *cypher pt4*
To really understand the cypher series you have to listen and understand the beef between the rap line of Bts and BFree. This is where the dynamic series of the ciphers came about. Otherwise I feel like someone is just going to take the series as another gangsta rap. You have to really understand it from beginning to end.
I feel like he cant pick a bias without knowing their offstage personalities. Watch Who is BTS: the 7 members or watch a helpful guide to BTS to ACTUALLY see what BTS is like. They're literally like a big family, you'll be surprised what you find

Bebaios V is my bias but when I have a bias its not like I fall in love with them, more like I want to adopt them as my child or something >w< I wish I was Tae’s father, Jin is my second bias becuase he is just as adorable and I find him hilarious
ᗪεɱσηɨςΔηgει Same tho. I was really into Yoongi, but then I kept on getting bias wrecked by EVERYONE, and then I just said Fuck it and now I‘m OT7 (with a _slight_ preference for taetae and yoongi)
OT7 but if made to choose its gunna be Yoongi with Jimin right behind...I just love there charismatic personalities and just pure talent and motivation
bangtan legends yeah maybe not too much now but in the next year’s I think thanks too them the other group will potentially be recognized too because bts breaks all the the walls and pave the way for the other, like the collab of Monsta x and French Montana...
Quite a few other groups are getting bigger actually but I do agree that for some of them, it feels forced from their companies. I wanted to mention a couple in particular but Imma shut up ;) The ones I think are doing a great job promoting in America and quite naturally are Monsta x and Stray Kids.
@@JumpingMuffinGirl I'm not sure if you'd call Monsta X organic when they're not making Korean songs anymore, they made a whole english album instead of a few English lyrics, they're losing their roots in order to appeal to the west which is sad 🤷 you don't have to agree but that's my opinion
Shadow goes into the concept that is talked about in the book Jung's map of the soul. In which they talk about the idea that every person is made up of three parts the persona, (which is your public face what your friends know you to be what the outside world knows you to be what if you're famous with your fans know you to be) your Shadow, (which of the parts of yourself that scare you the parts of yourself that you don't want to acknowledge that you hide) and then there's your ego, (who you know yourself to be as well as your reason). And they now actually have three rap songs called persona, Shadow, and ego. The I am you you are me part of the song is his shadow talking to hispersona to the parts of himself he doesn't want to acknowledge and the parts of himself he shows the world.... this might not make sense I'm very tired I should probably be asleep but insomnia is a jerk Edit Shadow is also as you guys picked up on talking about the problems with being famous and how that can make it hard to know who you really are and just complicates everything...

Finally, go for the entire rapline's _Outro: Tear_ both lyrics video and live performance to complete his BTS rapline education. If he wants to, of course.
Hi! Thank you for spreading the knowleadge 💜 And love to see people who are willing to watch new stuff with open mind! Yes, definetely would like to see more of you to together in the videos also 💜👍🏻 you nice, keep going!
More than a boy band I think of them as an artist collective. They describe their writing process as a year round music camp where they all bounce ideas and they best tunes are the ones chosen. They are so much more involved. And the kinds of topics they touch. From mental health to social disparity. Boy groups usually stay in the “love” themes
There are actually two different versions of mic drop the one with Steve Aoki with more English and then a more Korean... I think there might also be a version where designer raps on it
It has been so amazing to watch the growth of BTS. I saw them in a fantastic but no-frills concert in Anaheim in 2017 (the lack of funds was pretty obvious). Two years later they're rockin' the Rose Bowl with all the stops pulled out. One thing that didn't change is the high quality of their music production and the relatability of their lyrics. Big Hit did it right when they gave them so much freedom with their music as well as in showing themselves as real people (not pedestal idols) to the fans.
I’m one of those weirdos that watches people watching people lol. I love finding new reactions because as a huge army, it makes me ridiculously proud seeing new fans find this obsession. It always gives me the warm fuzzies seeing people who would normally look at BTS like “pfft, Kpop, next” and then they realize how legit BTS is and their whole demeanor changes. By the end of the video they’re bopping their heads and wanting to buy merch. Thank you for this.
Sometimes the beat draws you...their voices keeps you wondering... lyrics come and hits your cultural side wherever you are in the world...live performances leaves you in awe...by the time you reach the introduction series or the who's BTS video... you're already deep into the rabbit hole. We welcome anyone. Thanks.
I’m a Jimin bias but every time i see Suga he just blows my mind. I think he’s a very intelligent man and I love his straightforwardness. I can also relate to him with his struggles. 💜💜💜
I remember Logan the first time he reacted to BTS videos with Dylan (who is a 100% BTS fan). And now, he's the one being blown away by them and introduces BTS to his dope friend. You are amazing man!
When you watch bapsae and dig in to the meaning, like as explained by korean youll see a different side of BTS. Its not just loving yourself its an eye opener. Try to watch it with dkdktv
They all said “once you jimIN you can’t jimOUT” Thank you for this genuine reaction , hopefully you guys will continue to support BTS 💜 Btw I’m a new to ur videos and I like ur reaction, and ur right hopefully people will give BTS and other k-pop group a chance to listen cause it’s relatable.
Y'all need to react to the full version of Shadow. Suga is known for MURDERING beats with meaningful lyrics, flawless diction, and dynamic flows. I recommend ALL his songs. Always. My favorites are The Last and Nevermind. Thanks for respecting our boys. Peace!
You can show him a few K-rap/hip hop artists like Loco, Panchello, Penomeco, Gray, Sik--k, Zico, Epik High, Drunken Tiger, Dpr Live ect. It would be interesting from his perspective as a rapper.:)
There is another version of Mic Drop on Itunes ft Desiigner. And for another rap line super performance check out Memories of 2017 Cypher Medley live. It's one of my all time favs.
5:13 kind of like the statement "the higher the climb, the heavier the fall" or "The brighter the light/the brighter you shine, the darker the shadow." I think that Yoongles is saying is that the fame they earned cost them a lot of things in their life, and the more famous BTS became, pain and struggle came along with it.
That song has a psychological meaning about oneself behind it. Shadow is the ego of the self. It can the dark side of you, can stay inferior or could swallow you whole. That can make YOU change, good or bad. What he was saying is be careful...there should be a balance of your dreams and inner desire so as not to ruin oneself.
I Like BTS not because of kpop. Because of hip hop. I'm hip hop lover and I love old-school rap. BTS rap line is new generation of old school hip hop from Asia. I love this point.
Whenever I watch reactions like this, I kinda see how bts influence those underrated artist to use their platform in sending messages like loving yourself and ur like, damn "I'm proud of you!"
Logannnn! The new album has a longer version of "Interlude: Shadow" 😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 😄 Can't wait! Oh, you should really listen to "We Are Bulletproof" pt. 1 & 2! (Lyric vid for 1 & MV for 2) ARMY speculates that a song on MOTS7 will probably have a sample of one of those... Zaacchhh! Tyvm for having an open mind! I hope you'll come back & give other BTS songs a chance! I'm gonna head to find that 1st song cuz it sounded real good 😃
Hey awesome video! Zack, would love to see him back. I also love how both of you are laid back and are pretty open minded and just appreciate good music. I’ll check out Zack’s music. The clips in the beginning and the end sounded cool. Keep going!!! 💜💜💜💜💜
Mic Drop has five versions. English this MV you watched, Japanese, Korean (released on Album), Mic Drop Remix (for performances), and the ft. version with Desiigner.
Y’all are proof that BTS fans are NOT just a bunch of teenage girls. They’re very popular with everyone...like me, a 52 year old Caucasian. Thanks for a GREAT reaction!
There is a quote from Yoongi along the lines of we thought we would reach the 15th floor but now we are on 60th.... they have exceded their own expectations
Suga is just afraid of falling. He got so high but is scared of the end. I know there is so much more behind it but I just feel like that’s one part of the message he wants to bring out
I think the point of shadow was the fact that when they first made their debute song, he didnt expect to be where he was at now, and I think he felt as if he was just shocked by the fact that it's still unreal that he got to this point, but when he says dont let me shine I think he means dont just like him for his fame, because I think hes still at shock with the fact that all of their hard work has paid off
The shadow where he says don't let me fly is more about him not wanting to let his shadow become bigger also why he doesn't wanna fly. But he says that this personallity is something he has to face and in the second part it's his shadow talking and that's why he disappears in the crowd again.
Idk why but when I see people reacting to bts, it gets me happy because it shows that they are growing. I love how he knows about bias ! Totally love when people react shocked or so into it ! p.s. I'm an OT7 buttt bias is Jungkook :)))
Gosh, his music is fire, i rlly love his work and it would be amazing if you show him more of the rappers work. I suggest u: -The Last, Agust D (AGUST D) from Suga's mixtape -Cypher series, Intro: Nevermind, Outro:TEAR, UGH(from BTS new album), Ddaeng - BTS rap line -Airplane pt.1, Baseline - JHOPE mixtape -Joke, Do You, Moonchild, God Rap, Voice, Throw Away - RM mixtape
Hey I'm ARMY (England), I love it when people are open to giving BTS (and K-pop) a chance. I think it is actually sad because so many people are missing out on just how good they are. They cover so many genres, there is something for everyone. Most groups a lot of their tracks sound similar, with BTS they are all totally different. I started with BTS then got into Taemin, some GOT7 tracks, NCT127, Oneus and now I love Ateez too (they are amazing). BTS will always be my No. 1, there is just something special about them, not only their music, but who they are as individuals. I can't imagine my life without them in it.
Please react to their older music. Appreciate the dance choreo. Feel the beats and melodies. Hear their sincerity in their vocals. And most importantly, ---since we got subtitles now--- understand what they're trying to convey with their lyrics.
Sweetie.. I’m so happy you are showing other people kpop.. like y’all said, I hate that kpop has such a bad image with people who don’t listen to it. It’s so refreshing seeing other people understand how deep kpop can be. Like, I love bts, they are kings for a reason, but there are so many other groups that work just as hard and have just as amazing pieces of art. I hope that more people will branch out and see for themselves that there are so many different types of music in the world that are just as good or even better than American music
I've just recently gotten into Kpop and I'm sorry but their music videos are much higher quality than American mvs. The level of time and effort they put into every little detail is just mindblowing to me - from outfits to dance choreography. I heard that they train for years and practice at least 10hrs a day to hone their craft. That is some next level work ethic.
im a grandma from the Philippines my bias is teahyung thank you for a nice reaction bts is really a great performer stay healthy and be safe always lookinng forward for next reaction video God bless
Please react to Stray Kids. Their rapline is fire 🔥 -God's Menu -Easy -Maze Of Memories -Double Knot -District 9 -Hellevator -Miroh -My Pace They make their own songs and have amazing build-ups.
Suga, RM and JHope write a lot of the lyrics. They rap, sing, dance play instruments and write and produce. They are all full members of the Korean copyright association. All the group has multiple talents.
Since he's a rapper if you wanted to show him more rap songs there are the four cyphers as well as ddaeng and outro tear.
There's also Ego, Hope World mixtape, Agust D mixtape, Mono Mixtape, Chicken Noodle Soup, and more
And pls do the live one

I think ddaeng will need an explanation
The live versions are so lit
Heck....show him Suga’s mixtape Agust D....mind blowing 🤯🤯

I personnaly prefer the steve aoki version because RM english rap was amazing. And the English lyrics blend really well with the vibe of the song.

The shadow where he says don't let me fly is more about him not wanting to let his shadow become bigger also why he doesn't wanna fly. But he says that this personallity is something he has to face and in the second part it's his shadow talking and that's why he disappears in the crowd again.
you too should react to cypher medley !!
Idk why but when I see people reacting to bts, it gets me happy because it shows that they are growing. I love how he knows about bias ! Totally love when people react shocked or so into it ! p.s. I'm an OT7 buttt bias is Jungkook :)))
Definitely AgustD, Give it to me, & The Lost 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Suga, J-Hope, Rm - Ddaeng
And all four of the Cyphers 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Gosh, his music is fire, i rlly love his work and it would be amazing if you show him more of the rappers work. I suggest u:
-The Last, Agust D (AGUST D) from Suga's mixtape
-Cypher series, Intro: Nevermind, Outro:TEAR, UGH(from BTS new album), Ddaeng - BTS rap line
-Airplane pt.1, Baseline - JHOPE mixtape
-Joke, Do You, Moonchild, God Rap, Voice, Throw Away - RM mixtape
Keep Spreading the BTS love! It’s so fun to introduce people to good music 👍🏻
"That is taehyung, he is my bias"
He said that with the biggest smile
Uwu
Me too boi. Taehyung slapsss
they have english words, and they have whole songs in Japanese too
I hope that more people will branch out and see for themselves that there are so many different types of music in the world that are just as good or even better than American music
aaaawwwwww i love how Logan very understand about BTS.... Thanx for the reaction
That is some next level work ethic.
please my friend , make him react to bts cyphers 1,2,3,4 , has the flow so sick !

Suga, RM and JHope write a lot of the lyrics. They rap, sing, dance play instruments and write and produce. They are all full members of the Korean copyright association. All the group has multiple talents.
