Superbe choré !!! Bravo !!
i take afro dance lessons too, and i'm pregnant... i stopped dancing til my third month, now i'm 4 months and a half... that's exactly how i imagine my girl will be, walking and hanging out while we dance like it's the most natural thing for her since she's growing inside me listening and dancing these amazing rhythms!!!! :D
Classical orchestras perform (copy) music of Mozart, Chopin, etc... this is traditional (classical) music from West AFrica, so these are great dancers and drummers passing on this tradition.
very nice work :) great foot work and space movement, maybe the hands were a bit too "gentle" and slow moving compared to an african dance but nice work nonetheless
This is a full moon lovers dance from Guinea, West Africa. The name is Macru. The material these ladies are dancing is copied from Moustapha Bangoura's Tinkani DVD. Personally I'm not a fan of coping some one else material. But if you want it bad enough you will..... :?/
Although everyone is doing African dance, it is not for all. But at least this lady can dance a little..Pending approval only because you don't like what was said.(that's fine)
.... I hope you speak english... If you want more information about the music or about the musiciens, ask Ibrahima on facebook : Mbaye Ira Mbaye. He will know better than me. This is his musik.

appropriation of a bad attitude; brilliant West African culture is for all people - just ask a West African - dont ask an american though - broad minded spirituality is not understood in the common culture, shame
