Thanks for a great unboxing and general demo of this little camera. Mine arrived from an eBay seller [it's supposed to be brand new] without the mic, the sun shield, the plastic hand-strap thing or the instruction booklet so it may be going back. At least, thanks to you, I know what should have arrived and what it's capable of. Thanks a lot Gonzo.
Thanks Gonzo - best of luck with your many gaming videos. I'd subscribe but I'm more into Hogwarts Legacy and Puzzle games like Xing!! Good luck, Buddy!@@CaptGonz20
I found out that with these types of 4K CAMCORDERS, the best setting to shoot and edit is the 1080i/p because I found out that sometimes the manufacturer upscales the 4K aspect of it and the footage doesn't really come out as true 4K but the 1080i/p video footage does look good and depending on your computer power, the 4K video files may be a REAL PAIN to download and convert sometimes and the ZOOM is horrendous. I also had to purchase a separate microphone because the one that came with my 4K Camcorder was NOT CUTTING IT. Good job though on this review. - James D. I really appreciate the comment and yes you are right! you can tell a difference especially from my iPhone 4k to this camcorder 4k it is better to shoot at 1080i
thanks for the review , was most interested in the audio ,as i bought the camcorder to record music videos in my studio .low is the best mic setting for sure , hi is ok for long distances , but you get the subsequent major additional noise. there are mic's available for $40.- that may be better quality .hey ,for $140.- i think it should be fine. i'll try a music video ,and see how it goes .
ok ,so i tried recording just voice first , using external mike , very low output , could hardly hear playback voice, same with guitar 3 feet from the camera , hardly any playback volume with mike on "high '" ,then i bought a ZENIKO true stereo mike , same results ,, can hardly hear any sound on playback . when i hear your voice loud and clear when you play back your demo video , it must be my camcorder's problem ,as there is no volume control for either record or playback on the camcorder , correct ? this one is going back ,, guess i'll try a cenzoar again , as yours seems to record sound fine. and i did check all my connections and have full battery. video quality is decent .that's my review so far. i should ask ,did you play the video / audio back thru camcorder speaker , and not transfer the SD card to a laptop for playback ? it is likely the onboard speaker then . thanks . @@CaptGonz20
Well it's not terrible I guess, but I wouldn't rely on the audio or that digital zoom! Still, compared to what camcorders were like in the 80s and 90s, it's amazing really how much you can get for your money nowadays.
i never used a fisheye but what i looked up it says make sure the focus mode on the camcorder is switch to MF and also try turning the focus ring on the lens if it has one. i hope this helped
Excellent video learning a lot about this item well done 👍
