It’s a fund raiser for the met. 26 million raised this year and if you are into fashion it’s such a joy to see designs. I mean you could say that about the Kentucky derby or the Super Bowl as well. But for fashion freaks it’s great fun

But go ahead and justify all of it. In the scheme of things, it's not important over helping humanity. It's shallow in my opinion.
@@copperpenny0209 Your ideals do you credit. What are you doing to help even the score? It’s always hard to figure out. My husband and I are now old but we served in Peace Corps in Philippines ( honestly where I fell in love with fashion seeing what some people could put together on a severe budget was amazing). Peace Corps is a two year stint. I learned so much about poverty alleviation. It was life changing. We then spent out careers on poverty alleviation around the world. I’m old now but a big supporter of habitat for humanity. . What exactly are your efforts and what success have you had? Your concerns do you such credit. But action is the key

This exhibit would be impressing if Americans all over the country weren’t suffering under liberal policies. Policies that don’t affect those that go to the Met Gala. I just feel like this is so out of touch right now.
