Okay, a five-to-eight panel actually explained that Paul filmed his scene while knowing he had the Night of the Doctor to film, and Sylvester, Peter and Colin had no idea.
You'll notice he never shares the frame with them, so I wonder if they filmed his part separately.
He acts all coy like "Oh I'd love to be in it but I'm only free this day. Why? Oh...prior commitment..."
The blonde boy at the Doctor Who Experience and the little blonde girl in the car seat in John's car were Ty and Olive Tennant. Took me ages to realize that the little girl was her.

There was more fan service in the fivish doctors than the 50th.
There was a ton in Day of the Doctor, but most of it was subtle.
I didn't know this until I looked it up but apparently the part where they call Tom Baker and it cuts to stock footage was a reference to the original five doctors episode, Baker had only just left the show at the time of the shooting and didn't want to return so soon for another episode so he was written out using unused stock footage.
The more you know.
Well yeah, everyone knows that. There wouldn't be much point in watching it if people weren't fans and didn't get the jokes and references :P

I loved it. So funny and silly, so many references and callbacks. I loved all the cameos.
That show was a brilliant little extra treat to finish off the 50th anniversary day on tv. Such a shame that it wasn't included on the DVD/Blu-Ray release of Day of the Doctor.
I love this short film thing, it was my other fav moment of the 50th! So awesome to see 5, 6 & 7 inside 11's TARDIS!

Glad to see your hilarious reactions to this finally! (Especially the cameos from Jackson and McKellen, beyond awesome, that moment was.) You two are so sweet, as ever.
Of course you may know that Peter Jackson is actually a huge Doctor Who fan so I'm sure he jumped at the chance to have a cameo in this.

I use Tom's voicemail as my own. It's classic. I get so many laughs out of it.
Oh yeah, Paul Mcgann was there to. Mustn't forget handsome Paul McGann, who I always refered to as 'The Pretty One' among the Doctors. Matt is 'The Quirky One', David is 'The Valient One'. Lol, poor Georgia, stuck in hospital bed when David forgot to ask how she was doing.
7:30 I think the joke is that John doesn't want people to know he has kids because he is supposed to be gay.
The guy Olivia Colman was talking to off the top was John Pertwee's son, Sean. Colin Baker's daughters really played his daughters in this and Patrick Troughton's son was one of the guys who was supposed to be in a dalek.
+jalola298 Also, the boys at the beginning were Davison's real life sons, the baby "daughter" of Barrowman's is actually David Tennant and Georgia Moffett's little girl, Olive, and the boy who discovers the costumes are "not right" is Georgia's son, Ty.
Why this wasn't included on the Day of the Doctor blu-ray I'll never know.

Well, at least they got to see some of the new stuff. And they got to wear bits on there old outfits. Barrowman! So nice to see him again, wish he'd show up in Doctor Who again. And Tennant! Nice to see him again to (and of course Georgia, never far away) and of course RTD, who I would guess never stepped out of the shadow of Doctor Who. And Matt! Matt was there to and Clara. A star-studded bunch all there for Peter's fiv(ish). Tom got honorable mention since he's in the 50th. Lol, good stuff as always.

So in a way, every living actor who played the Doctor was in the special. Only difference is that 5, 6, and 7 did not play the role of the Doctor.

I heartily agree with the other commentators, so good to see your enthusiasm for the show. I watched this slightly after it was broadcast, it made me even more content about the 50th, though, you can`t help feeling......Question still remains, were they under those sheets, when "D.O.T.D." was filmed ?? :)

***** Peter Davison has pretty much spoken as little about her as possible since their divorce. He did do one very candid interview back in the 90's after Georgia's son was born (and if I'm not mistaken, he and Sandra were being so ugly to each other while Georgia was in labor that she basically told them to get the hell out of the room). He said the day Georgia was of legal age, Sandra ceased to exist for him.

Yeh, but it gave us this Easter egg! Barrowman's toddler in the back seat was played by Olive Tennant (uncredited). The doctor's granddaughter/daughter made her screen debut.

We people in England pay money towards the bbc (I think) and that goes into the production of tv serieseseses. So along with that we also get BBC iplayer which if you haven't payed your TV license then you can still use but you can not watch live stuff. Thats not racism its just paying for what you get.
