thats what i mean they like to remind ppl that they have 13 cup but they won all of them when 4 of the 6 teams made the playoff and there were only 5 opponents and probably a pretty short season as well meanwhile as a red wings fan in toronto ppl haze me cuz they are struggling now when the leafs havnt been good when there was any competition cuz im sure like the habs they got first dibs on every player from ontario now theres a 'fair' draft theyve be crap until 2 guys that won with the red wings showed and they learned that u actually have to follow the salary cap and not pay parking cones like phenuf and clakson 6 mil a year
The season was 70 games so not that much shorter, and while the Leafs haven't been successful since expansion may I remind everyone that the New York Rangers have 2 Cups in 78 years. They didn't win a single one during the Original 6 era.
but ranger fans are annoying as you know wat and im sure that has something to do with the habs and leafs getting all the canadian players in the early days
You guys should bring this quiz format back, but do World Series, Grey Cups, or Super Bowls (if you’re worried about the some of the guys sports knowledge outside of hockey, you could make it a tag team quiz)
You should really remember that series as a Devils fan, even though they lost it went back and forth until game 7 when Alex Tanguay decided to play. It was a super fun series
“NHL Should learn how to have competitive teams” -NHL continues to have the draft lottery which makes/keeps bad teams bad and worse and then makes good teams better.
*without looking up* Chicago Blackhawks Proof: It's easy because that was blackhawks first stanley cup ring. Plus Ik it 1935 was Montreal Maroons, and Blackhawks won before that year. *looked up* Chicago Blackhawks! yay!
The Stanley Cup victories for each team(last year they won the cup): Montreal Canadiens: 24(1993) Toronto Maple Leaves: 13(1967) Detroit Red Wings: 11(2008) Boston Bruins: 6(2011) Chicago Blackhawks: 6(2015) Edmonton Oilers: 5(1990) Pittsburgh Penguins: 5(2017) New York Islanders: 4(1983) New York Rangers: 4(1994) Ottawa Senators: 4(1927) New Jersey Devils: 3(2003) Colorado Avalanche: 2(2001) Los Angeles Kings: 2(2014) Montreal Maroons: 2(1935) Philadelphia Flyers: 2(1975) Anaheim Ducks: 1(2007) Calgary Flames: 1(1989) Carolina Hurricanes: 1(2006) Dallas Stars: 1(1999) St. Louis Blues: 1(2019) Tampa Bay Lightning: 1(2004) Victoria Cougars: 1(1925) Washington Capitals: 1(2018) Arizona Coyotes: 0 Buffalo Sabres: 0 Columbus Blue Jackets: 0 Florida Panthers: 0 Minnesota Wild: 0 Nashville Predators: 0 San Jose Sharks: 0 Vancouver Canucks: 0 Vegas Golden Knights: 0 Winnipeg Jets: 0
Jeff Beukeboom was a guy who was probably not good enough for that Rangers team, but because he worked super hard and played hard, he was the heart of the team. He wore the A because the players thought in the dressing room, he was the most important guy. His play style let Leetch play offensively to great success.

Good job. You successfully just failed at geography.

@@phillytheflyerable all right that was pretty funny.
You call these skates?
Jesse (on the Jets winning a cup): 2018, just wait ok.
6 Years later: Jets still have as many cups as Canada since 1993.
I like the ending with Bergeron :)
Jesse is a brendon gallagher and mitch marner hybrid
That weird goal

corwin looks like he might cry tf is this boy okay
12 teams have won the cup that didnt even exist the last time the leafs even made the final lul whatta joke
Justin Koster lol what?
after the first expansion draft the Leafs haven't won the cup. Those 12 teams that won didn't exist until 1967
thats what i mean they like to remind ppl that they have 13 cup but they won all of them when 4 of the 6 teams made the playoff and there were only 5 opponents and probably a pretty short season as well meanwhile as a red wings fan in toronto ppl haze me cuz they are struggling now when the leafs havnt been good when there was any competition cuz im sure like the habs they got first dibs on every player from ontario now theres a 'fair' draft theyve be crap until 2 guys that won with the red wings showed and they learned that u actually have to follow the salary cap and not pay parking cones like phenuf and clakson 6 mil a year
The season was 70 games so not that much shorter, and while the Leafs haven't been successful since expansion may I remind everyone that the New York Rangers have 2 Cups in 78 years. They didn't win a single one during the Original 6 era.
but ranger fans are annoying as you know wat and im sure that has something to do with the habs and leafs getting all the canadian players in the early days
All I know is that the Capitals finally won in 2018 after many epic failures. Seeing Ovechkin and Backstrom with the Cup was priceless
I love these videos! I was born in 2000 and know all the winners since 1967
Izey Fro since the maple leafs last cup
I was also born in 2000 and I know the winners of each year since 1918.

You guys should bring this quiz format back, but do World Series, Grey Cups, or Super Bowls (if you’re worried about the some of the guys sports knowledge outside of hockey, you could make it a tag team quiz)
I was surprised at how much I knew considering I was born in 1999
Hunter Lehman I was born in 2001 and I can go all the way back to 1970.
I'm good back to 1950... It was a good round number, and my brain can only hold SO much (only sometimes) useful(ish) bar trivia! ;) Haha! Love this!!
Make more of these
Keep climbing poles and flipping cars 😂😂😂 I love it
Where still waiting in 2019 after the Blues just won the cup for the Jets🤔🤔
The fact that you pointed out that the Leafs have 0 Cups at 14:40 really got me lmfao xD
Guy looks like Joe Pavelski lmao.
Sam does.
11:15 Jeff Beukeboom! Haven’t heard that name in a while.
Wow! A Canadian team won the cup for 7 straight seasons from 84-90 but hasn’t won one since 1993 😮
pretty raw isn't it?
they managed to fix the problem didn't they?
I was out at 1979 Damnit. Still, proud to get through 4 decades.
God damn it! So pissed that I said Avs in 02, one year off... that's the only lapse I had too cause I was good for years after that.
You should really remember that series as a Devils fan, even though they lost it went back and forth until game 7 when Alex Tanguay decided to play. It was a super fun series
11:50 I don’t think it was a Canadian team, was it the Oilers?
thanks Mitch Marner. GO FLYERS
Deven Carson FLYERS FOR LIFE
Yeah! Go Flyers!!!!!

“NHL Should learn how to have competitive teams” -NHL continues to have the draft lottery which makes/keeps bad teams bad and worse and then makes good teams better.

2019 is a no go for the jets
Jeff Beukeboom was a guy who was probably not good enough for that Rangers team, but because he worked super hard and played hard, he was the heart of the team. He wore the A because the players thought in the dressing room, he was the most important guy. His play style let Leetch play offensively to great success.
