Howdy doody do The Beauty Of , and hopefully 'tis a nice day in your neck of the woods.
Unfortunately at this precise time I am down and broke and not currently able to become a patron with good hard cash donations, but nonetheless am in complete agreement with regards to your views and opinions about the absolutely fantastic cinematography of Once Upon A Time .... in Hollywood.
Unfortunately various distractions occurred at the time this masterpiece was doing the cinema rounds and I never got to experience the full effect as intended, but nevertheless my first viewing of the movie was on DVD whilst on a medium strength tab of Acid. I cannot underestimate how enjoyable & entertaining the movie is under such chemically induced circumstances.
      All the best.

I will never forget the weird surreal feeling and overwhelming sense of happiness and awe I felt watching this in the cinema. I was in Galway in Ireland with my parents(who hated tarantino movies). Long story short, they absolutely loved it just like me. It had such a weird magic feeling walking home to the hotel from the cinema in the cold windy air beside the sea as we talked about the film and our favorite things about it. It was such a nice experience to share with my parents and I am glad I got to have it with them.

This is one of the best films made in the last decade and only people who know movies can understand this. Why are so many people surprised that others think its boring and cant understand the movie lol. They are the same people who look at their phones and get enjoyment watching reality television and listening to people pretend they sing and make their own music. The production of this film will go down as the most underrated film in history almost. At least top 10. The acting was ridiculous. And the work Q did to tie in the story lines is legendary. It will be studied by film makers and students for the next decade. Whats amazing more than anything is that most people even those who love the movie miss the 2 scenes that basically are the dullest, and quietest, with nothing happening in them provide incredible film making stories that set up true and what could have been moments in real life. People can watch the movie 1000 times and might never catch it. But the camera work that Q did and the actors did it in a way that only certain people who study film can pick up.

It is so filled with memorable lines, and scenes it is forever in your mind once you've seen it. Leo's character is funny and lovable, Pacino is hysterical, Pitt is a REAL cowboy, and all the bit parts are perfect. The end is so emotional, balanced perfectly by the funny end credit scene. I left the theater thinking I had finally seen another classic film like I saw in the 70s with Godfather, Chinatown, Jaws, etc....

Since 'Kill Bill', Tarantino's films have been pastiche of 1960s-1970s cinema. The visual style (cinematography and set design) strongly suggests this.
But here, they seem more authentic. I mean, I've only seen the 60s and 70s through the screen, so I could be wrong.
I do believe, though, that this film has the finest cinematography and set design in his filmography.
