They ought to be, after all a wise man probably once said : "physics are a perfectly balanced phenomenon with no exploits, bugs or glitches." - The sipping mate or something
I'm calling it now, if people can figure out how to cause this bug deliberately it'll be exploited to heaven and back, it'll be the successor to the all-powerful falling road
I like the advancements you make each episode, learning more and more how stress transfers and optimal geometries. Base knowledge from low budget being translated and expounded upon
Love the lowstress engineering! 12:30 I find lowstress is wayy more design-dependent than pixel-tweaky. On this very level, I had an 11.30% bridge, but I had to re-design to get a lower score. 😄 both designs are quite different from yours (and each other), so rest assured there's a lot of room and incentive for creativity and clever design!
The car flipping was definitely unexpected. Especially after seeing all the micro tweaking I was expecting it to maybe fall but it instead rebounds back to its previous position. Insane 😅
I’m sure working closely with Ben on the Poly Bridge videos is making that process even faster than if they were just left to their own devices, too. No matter how skilled at the craft, having someone with experience to help you create the right atmosphere is always a good thing! It kinda makes me wonder how much input/correction Ben has had over Noarsy’s edits, if any. And if there have been, if that frequency has been able to come down since Noarsy’s inclusion onto the team
it's so funny that with budget optimisation you start with steels and get rid of as much of them as possible, you come back to the level for stress optimisation and one of the first things is adding the steel back in.
A reinforce strategy that I saw RCE do is placing a pice of wood through the road(from the starting node to the end node) and it seems to help out a lot on the stress
as another civil engineer, your "reducing the leverage" is reducing what's called the moment! Not sure how big the physics actually are in the game, but would be neat if you looked into calculating the moment of things and could understand more how it all works :D hopefully RCE still loves me for helping you! :p
I can already see people trying to recreate this to work for their benefit in other levels. The glitch cheese solutions have only just begun with node-spam, precision car backflips are the future!
Hmm, I have a suggestion (?) for the editors. Maybe putting tyler's current stress + leaderboard records in a corner of the screen would be good. It'd let us get a better feel for how an attempt is going without having to remember the previous numbers
8:17 what kind of a sneaky frame is that? What's up with that bridge? Are editors trying to brainwash us into thinking that disconnected bridges are better so that Tyler can have low stress leaderboard all to himself?
I love the PB3 low stress runs! I still need to beat the last two levels of the secret world and then I will be joining your quest for safe well engineered bridges!!
Good to know that physics are still working perfectly
Welp, that's a new bug for budgeteers to abuse the hell out of

You know your bridge is good when the car makes a backflip on it
And a darn smooth one I must say, the hood barely touches the tip of the ramp
@@hafidzgi
All just to drive on it again, it must feel like heaven driving in such bridge
Well, they might've ended up there after falling into the drink when they tried to reach the flag after their backflip.
That car really just rubber bended reality just for the fun of it
Bro I thought the editors were fucking around at first lmaoo
The editors are so good I thought the car going back on the bridge was the video being played backwards as a joke
Glad I’m not the only one lol

I wonder how the dev is going to respond to that clip/bounce.
Only Tyler could accidentally find something like that while going for a top spot
12:43 That was... the most beautiful stunt/physics messup I've seen in this game yet.
Amazing.
That part at 12:47 actually had me burst out laughing LMFAO
i was out at public transit and i almost teared up 😭
@@jerecakes1 I ACTUALLY teared up from my laughter! That wasn't even on my radar for things that could happen!
And we are back with the low stress grind! Was very much waiting for this one for a bit and catching up on Island of Insight + Peglin in the meantime.
LMAO that random bounce that the green car did at 12:46 was so good
That car flipping back onto your bridge was hilarious!
Actually have been looking for someone going for low stress so glad you’re doing this series
noarsy is honestly like the perfect editor for this channel, they instantly nailed the style and have amazing quality edits.

A plugin that shows the direction of force applied to each node would be interesting to see.
It would probably get overcramped with all the arrows. It is an interesting idea though
There are stress plugins that show whether the material is in compression or under tension!
@@piisfun that's a clever idea. I guess my mind was all up in force diagrams lol
12:47 That would the loudest a Aliensrock video would be

That car really said “That bridge is so nice, I’ll drive it twice”
😂😂😂😂yeah
That flip was crazy. Great driver
..., even greater car.
the fact that you have played these types of games for years really just warms my heart in a way i can't explain
10:40
Tyler: "That is better."
Editors: -$1, -0%
And then the car REBOUNDS two minutes and three seconds later!
This is easily the best series in PB3 :P
That car flip at 12:44 was great
I had the exact same reaction at 12:45 that's some impressive hydraulics in that car hahaha :D
Finally, some real engineering, none of that dangly architect mess!
this is more architect than what he did before. architects like wasting money, therefore half budget challenge saves money.
That car flipping was the best cherry on top at the end of the video.
Glad to see your customers are jumping for joy at your bridges
I swear the car backflip glitch will become a new cheese strat somehow I'm calling it
I’m loving this a lot more than low budget, thanks for the good content Tyler!
A reinforce strategy that I saw RCE do is placing a pice of wood through the road(from the starting node to the end node) and it seems to help out a lot on the stress
I don't know about anyone else, but I am absolutely LOVING the low stress leaderboards.
That individual is a true engineer, wanted to spend more time with his bridge so he backflipped to it
I legitimately thought the car backflipping back onto the ramp was editing magic at first!
as another civil engineer, your "reducing the leverage" is reducing what's called the moment! Not sure how big the physics actually are in the game, but would be neat if you looked into calculating the moment of things and could understand more how it all works :D hopefully RCE still loves me for helping you! :p
for jumps I feel like more roads but smaller should help, as you can make a more smoother path
I can already see people trying to recreate this to work for their benefit in other levels. The glitch cheese solutions have only just begun with node-spam, precision car backflips are the future!
How's everyone's day going? I hope it's going well.
P.S. Thanks for the upload Tyler!
you also have to remember the weight on the bridge, so sometimes less is more
Hmm, I have a suggestion (?) for the editors. Maybe putting tyler's current stress + leaderboard records in a corner of the screen would be good. It'd let us get a better feel for how an attempt is going without having to remember the previous numbers
ok that physics bug was totally unexpected and i even thought that was an editors trick
Hey I mean, low stress means happiness, and thus the car did a backflip.
No better ending to this video than that jump, lmao
nothing like a glitch to absolutely make my day.
"And it got nothing fucky" - Best quote so far
i genuinely though that backflip at the end was editted bhaha
That end got me crying 🤣
Hearing Tyler say "Just add more steel" is wrong on a spiritual level
that green car took "DO A FLIP" too seriously
That backflip at the end made me laugh out loud.
what a great timing! I refreshed youtube page and there's your video waiting for me :D
The truck jump level is gonna be hard

Heya SCPF we got another anomaly upon our hands
it's been confirmed. cars make for excellent gymnasts
Man this alien rocks!!!!!!!! I wonder if he has a bike?
Feels very weird still to get aliensrock notifications at this time of day
The hydraulics on that green car are raising a lot of questions.
man i love building bridges with no stress whatsoever for the guaranteed safety of civilians
Nice
Tyler, does mastering low stress in Polybridge translate over to real life?
Car really just felt like it was his special day
can't wait for that last bit to start being used for like, 2 dollar randomlaunch bridges
I've been happy before, but I've never been happy enough to perform a standing backflip... Let alone in a car lol.
I kinda like the new upload schedule still. its 2am where I live, but that means I can wake up to a new video everyday!
That last car on the left needs an exorcism
8:17 what kind of a sneaky frame is that? What's up with that bridge? Are editors trying to brainwash us into thinking that disconnected bridges are better so that Tyler can have low stress leaderboard all to himself?
sounds like what evil tyler would say
He clearly said " *engineering* the safest jump bridges possible " to get realcivilegineer's attention
12:45 Expect the unexpected
I actually thought at 12:45 that it was video editing if not for your reaction
Bro that car be going sicko mode
Tyler went from killing thousands of people to save a couple bucks to making the most secure bridges on the planet.
GREAT VIDEO TYLER!!!
10:40 Is a crazy improvement
Low stress leaderboards - AKA the steel redemption arc
I love the PB3 low stress runs! I still need to beat the last two levels of the secret world and then I will be joining your quest for safe well engineered bridges!!
Finally, more Poly Bridge.
Is there a mod that shows tension/compression stress levels? Even just showing tension as a minus values. I suspect that'd help you on a few fixes.
He better make a good bridge cus aliens are rocking my *world*
Oh yea in case you don’t know you can make words bold by putting asterisks around them like * word * (remove spaces)
I wonder if that lat bridge wouldn't be better if it was supported on the middle Island.
Nobody would have delieved it if it wasn't recorded lol
Car really said hippety hoppety
Ending got me
i thought last bridge you could just stretch the roads out and make it rest on the platform or was it only colliding with cars
W thumbnail
Went for style points on that last one. 😆
Loving the low stress vids lowering my own stress!
12:46 WHAT THE FUCK
Let's see when Tyler vs FarCE goes for low stress challenge
