We have same system but when we use a fab to get access it doesn't work unless someone push the button from the inside please what we should do. Your help will be appreciated thank you
Thank you, very much for your video. I have to install a similar system but I think the general concept will be very useful to me. Muchas gracias por tu video. Tengo que instalar un sistema similar, pero creo que el concepto general me será muy útil.
Hello. I have magnetic locks that have status LED's. One lock shows red LED when the door is opened and green LED when the door is closed. This is the normal behaviour. However, for the other lock, LED remains red even when the door is locked. Do you know what may be happening here?
GREAT DEMONSTRATION PAL I HAVE ONE QUESTION FOR YOU ABOUT MAGNETIC LOCKS WITHOUT SENSOR.MY QUESTION IS HOW TO WIRE THE MAGNETIC LOCK WITH TWO SWITCH KEYS FROM TWO DIFERENT LOCATIONS AND PUSH BUTTON TO EXIT....YOU ANSWERWILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
I have an argument I, have had with our crew. dont twist wires counter clockwise when using wire nuts. either dont twist or twist clockwise then use the wire nut.. Otherwise you are untwisting the wire then retwisting it clockwise when twisting the wire nut on. Certainly Im not wrong am I? For me to be wrong would be unheard of. LOL
your PIR is wrong on your daisy chain, NC on receiver's output always goes to Common on your next device and not NC , also your exit button is momentary and needs to be a 30s delay on press to meet fire dept code, your wiring wont pass inspection
Electrically it doesn't matter if you go from NC to the next Com or the next NC. For the sake of consistency it is best to do so. Only 1 device needs to directly interrupt the flow of current to the magnet so the button should be hooked to the REX or request to exit input on the keypad to trigger its timer.
the best and easy to follow instruction!👍👍
Easy instalación
Is there anyway that these systems can be operated using a manual key? Turning the lock?

That was an awesome demonstration thank you so much for sharing
What's the specification of your power supply? Beginner here :)
Will this work with a 12v or 18v power supply off of a Milwaukee battery pack?
Informative, thanks I was wonder id that power wire with stripes
Is it possible to connect two rfid readers in parallel? ( for magnetic lock)
Yes, I have done this in my hospital. This allows for a badge in and a badge out without having to program a new port on the board.
Gracias!

hello ,,i have zkteco x7 ,,but i dont know how to installation to maglock,,,can you help me,,,
what are the other 3 wires on the receiver (blue,yellow and green) for!?
Manny,
The three wires are:
Blue = Normally Closed
Yellow = Common
Green = Normally Open
They are your relay connection.
so if the power goes out the door is unlocked?
Back battery. One battery good for all doors. I would never use magnetic locks...poor security. Solenoid latch $7 shipped... winner.
I don't see any battery.
how you can configure (set up ) the padlocks
