I think we can ALLLLL identify with that question!!! 😉 you continue to be the BEST!!! So glad you had some family-enjoying time this summer!!! Thanks for sharing your gift with us!!!!!!
LOL! Wasn't it you who asked it? I can't remember now. Thanks so much for watching!
@@ardyth YES! That’s why I was laughing!!!!
Ardyth, what an encouraging video. I love how the inspiration of the quilts gave you what you needed to spark the creation of those two cards. I was looking through some Autumn coloured backgrounds I had created recently trying to come up with some inspiration to make an Autumn Wedding card. It didn't come to me immediately but lookimg through my Autumn stamps and punches did do ally give me the spark I needed. Thanks as always for inspiring and encouraging us all. 😊🇨🇦
That sounds lovely - what a beautiful time of the year to get married! Thanks for watching!
You are so doggone smart, and your videos always give an understandable perspective to common crafting dilemnas. Thank you so much for the shout out, too! See you soon.
It was sooo much fun to watch Ardyth on Craft Roulette.
@@IRC1026, we enjoy her, too! Be sure to be watching for a special event announcement!
Thanks for dropping by, Mary!
I actually use an app on my phone where I made a ‘roulette wheel’ with different colors, techniques, embellishments, and type of card. Love watching Craft Roulette.
@@bethgintx what?! You clever thing! I love that idea! I'll be the guest on CR on Oct 13 - see you there!
Aww Ardyth I love your content! ❤ Those lists of cardmaking challenges, backgrounds, and the way you just created those cards. Normally I don’t gravitate to those colours but the way you blended them just made them pop! 😊 You’ve certainly inspired me when I get stuck! Sometimes paper pads also give me inspiration for colour combos. Thanks so much again as always for your useful tips 😊❤
Oh yes, patterned paper is a great inspiration! Thanks for watching!
Thank you 😊 Ardyth! Wonderful ideas 💡 Looking forward to seeing you soon on Craft Roulette!
Yay! I always have so much FUNN there! Thanks for watching!
Fab video, Ardyth. Great tips. The other thing I do is just clean up my craft desk! That gives me room, both mentally and physically, to create.
That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous patterns. Loved how you used that quilt inspiration. It reminds me that Pinterest can be a useful tool. Thanks Ardyth!
I seem to pin all sorts of things and then never go back - I need to do better at that! lol! Thanks for watching!
You are my crafty counselor! You always offer such sweet and sound advice!
LOL! I love that! Thanks so much for watching!
I love playing along with Craft Roulette, and I use your LIMES often too. They both really help me. Thanks Ardyth ❤
Thanks so much for watching!
Yes, your back from holiday. I missed you. Great video again. Love the colours and the patterns.
Thank you! 😊
Love these cards, the colors and design!!!!!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for watching!
Great ideas! And beautiful cards!! Thank you Ardyth! ❤
Thanks so much!
Love the colors. I liked it better before the matting-- the shading made it look 3D. 😊
Thank you! 😊
These are both so pretty but the mostly orange one reminds me of plumeria flowers. ❤
Thanks so much for watching!
Yesss. A long video!
Haha! Happy to be back! Thanks for watching!
@@ardyth hey my birthday is on September 10, I would like to dedicate a happy birthday card for men…
Great ideas, I like making happy birthday labels to put on quick birthday cards.
Oh, smart! I love that idea! Thanks for watching!
I love how you used that quilt for the inspiration! That never would have occurred to me! I'm going to start an inspiration folder RIGHT NOW on Pinterest! I've been having a bit of creative block lately. Also you're right about cleaning up and organizing. I often get fired up to do something while organizing my stuff! Thank you so much for sharing your skills!
Thanks so much for watching!
Great to see you back. I kept checking my subscriptions to make sure YT had not inadvertently unsubscribed me. Watching this video gave me a couple of ideas, so I got the supplies together while you talked. Thank you!
Aw, that's very sweet! I took some time off from videos but I'm glad to be back. And I'm so glad you're feeling inspired! Thanks for watching!
Welcome back! Glad you had a nice break! Love the cards, tips and ideas! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much!
Wow...love both those cards...also love your talent and your great tutorials. Very understandable...TFS.
Thank you so much!
I love those two cards!
Thanks for your fantastic ideas!
Thanks so much!
Missed you! Welcome back. Love the orange and blue combo, especially with the shading.
Thank you so much 😀
Thanks for the tips! Those cards are beautiful!! Now I want to try orange & blue!! 💖
Perfect autumn colours! Thanks for watching!
For inlays try using a piece of press and seal on the back after you die cut. Then pull the border away and the inlay pieces should stay in place. This will also allow you to add shadows to the die cuts. Great ideas and cards.
I have never had luck with press n seal, but I did see someone using mint tape recently, so I'll try that. Thanks so much for watching!
I actually love the way these turned out! Where you thought you liked the first way better, I like the inked mat around the circle. Great job as always. You never get stumped. The last time I walked in my room I looked at some backgrounds I did that I hated put them back and left! I haven’t had time to get back in there since!
Thanks so much for watching, Denise! Don't give up on those backgrounds - I bet they are save-able!
Welcome back! Very helpful hints. Your cards turned out very cute!
Thanks so much!
Beautiful cards! Thank you for all the ideas!
Thanks for stopping by, Tiffany!
So much great info here! Thank you!
Thanks so much!
Thank you for the encouraging words, I go down and feel overwhelmed! I really like the idea of stamping and coloring! Also any good ideas with glitter and cardmaking? I love collecting glitter too! Ha ha! Thank you again!
I think we've all felt that way! Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks to who ever asked that question and thanks to you for responding in video 🙏🏾
haha! I think we all face this from time to time! Thanks for watching!
Amazing cards! You have such an interesting eye for design and your videos are so helpful!
Thank you so much!
Watching your video after a month was a treat ❤

Thanks so much!
Those look amazing! I love the color combination! Thank you for the ideas. I finally broke down and purchased a Platinum 6 and it will be here in a couple of days. Things like this are really helpful.
So glad you're feeling inspired! Thanks so much for watching and enjoy that P6!
Great advice Ardyth and I love your cards
Thanks so much!
Welcome back! Beautiful cards! Love your longer videos🧑🏼🎨😀
Thanks for watching!
This is Awesome!
Thank you!
Those cards are stunning. Tfs.
Thanks so much!
Great ideas!! Thanks so much for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful colours together …but it seems too complicated and time consuming to me ..but ..I will try it ..thank you for being so inspiring and informative x
LOL! No need to try it if it's not for you - inlaid die cut is something I enjoy, but I totally get that it's not for everyone. Maybe you can find a way to use the colours with a simpler method - I'm sure it will be just as pretty! Thanks for watching!
Excellent please do more x
Thanks for watching!
Glad you are back. I have missed you
that's so nice! Thanks so much!
Beautiful cards!
Thanks so much!
Awesome cards and advice Ardyth!
Thanks, Kim! Hope you're enjoying these last few days of summer - looks like a hot weekend!
@@ardyth Summer has gone by in the blink of an eye honestly and I’m not really ready to say goodbye yet. But the leaves are already turning here so Autumn isn’t too far away! Hope you are enjoying the long weekend ahead!
One of my favorite color combos! These cards turned out great and I love all the ideas for finding inspiration. I do snip images of things that catch my eye and put them in my pictures folder for later reference although sometimes I think I have too much inspiration and not enough perspiration. LOL. I even saw an image I've saved on your inspiration page!
Haha! I have that same problem - I love how you said it! inspiration and perspiration - I'm going to try to use some more of my inspiration (although I do think that even sub-consciously, we absorb them and maybe use them? I hope so!) Thanks for watching!
I found this quote this morning and thought it appropriate. "Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working." -- Pablo Picasso @@ardyth
@@kcinca5410 oh that's good! Thanks for sharing!
Glad to see you back. Thought you might have stopped posting
Just needed a break! Thanks so much for your support!
I DO LOVE INLAYING. TY
Me too! One of my favourite techniques! Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for this video I never know were to start for card making
Thanks so much for watching!
Those are so beautiful--love that color scheme...reminds me of Meh he Co ;) heh hehe I decided that my 'backgrounds' and half way done stuff needed to be used before I make new stuff. I managed to squeak out 4 birthday cards. True they were winter designs..but we get there eventually right? ha thanks for all of your inspiration and advice Ardyth.
That's a great idea! I have a stack of gel plate backgrounds I need to use up... and yes, winter comes every year. lol! Thanks for watching!
Welcome back!!!! You, and your wealth of inspiration, were missed! Great card, and as usual, very inspiring. 😃
Thank you so much!
This is such a much needed vlog. I have just realised i follow you on Instagram and didnt realise its you ha ha ... I sometimes get stuck so i have made a colour combo board on Pintrest and thats my go to when i feel i need some inspiration.
It's me! lol! Thanks for your support and for watching this video - I'm glad you found it helpful!
Glad to hear that you are back in your craft room! Loved the colour and pattern combos.
Thanks so much!
Recently I did a mini reset of my craft space which resulted in a basket of partial paper pads, die cuts, twine, folders, embellishments, etc. that I decided I would pass on or throw out, but first I wanted to see what cards I could make from this limited pile. I ended up making 40 cards over the next few days! It really helped jump start my creativity and I was even able to give some love to stamp sets I hadn't used in a while.
WOW! That sounds amazing - I am having similar thoughts about my background stamps. I NEVER seem to reach for them (so I should get rid of them right?) but when I actually look at them, I think "but I like this" lol! I need to set myself a challenge! Thanks so much for watching!
Great card!...again :-)
Thank you so much 😊
Great ideas!
Thank you! 😊
These are stunnnnnning! I'm in love with these colours and the depth you incorporated!
You were missed btw! 😊
Thank you so much 😀
