Awwwww the tribute at the end with the Z-pull from the 80s that defined them❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥲🥲🥲🥲❤❤❤❤❤❤❤I already miss them😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭don't leave us cadets!!!!!!
@@Notimp0rtant523 The reason I put 2003 is because they reduced their free time on tour after losing to Cavaliers by around 4 points (can't remember off the top of my head) in June. So they ended up literally working their asses off the entire tour, and they ended up around a tenth shy of the Cavaliers. Besides that aspect, there is the length of the entire show, including the introduction, and it was just exhausting. My reasoning is based on the alumni that marched 2003 and 2005.
Lol I remember seeing them for the first time that season from the tunnel in San Antonio. I thought “Why don’t we have a cool pre show!?” 😂 We had a free day the next day and we met some members from the Cadets in the mall on the Riverwalk. They were not about the pre show. More show more practice 😂

This is no knock on any other year, but this is probably the hardest working version of Cadets ever.
I get what you’re saying, but I think 2005 might have this beat. There’s slightly more stand still time but the tempos are just in another ballpark

@@keyowilson5695 i have heard similar stories of how this was the hardest summer for that same reason
I love it when drum corps play malagueña, it always sounds so frickin good
It is the actual best.
11:41 that snare roll! This drumline was on fire
11:37 is when the snares actually play that roll
I loved every thing I ever saw The Cadets do!! They were fantastic!! I'll always miss them!! ❤️ 💖 ❣️ 💕
Definitely a Sylvester drill - lots of Zingali influence (and Mark's personal style). BEAUTIFUL! I miss my summer family. 88,89,90
opener: Fanfare and Allegro by Clifton Williams. My college band played that back in the 70s. Good to hear it again.
Daym, I just noticed the drumline warmed-up with "Robbie Bucks" .
The camera cuts at the 6-7:30 marks are amazing
That INSANE spread in the end smh
The pre show is such a flex.
i heard some "my favorite things" pieces from The Sound of Music at the ending :D
Eh iya juga
8:45.
I have gone for two decades not knowing that there was a whole-ass intro before the tuba solo, bruh.

This is finals, not semifinals.
I love 7:09 so much.
RIP
Thanks
We are dead, Broadway has taken over, sorta....
We are dead,

Oops,

Was the rotating company front a reference to the Madison scouts? 6:20
Yes

I like this show a LOT, but the use of purple on the guard uniforms and flags is hard to watch. Clashes with red. Hard to watch. Was a mistake IMO.
Go back to 1988
Who paid for this, they are kids..
Who paid for this, they are kids..George Hopkins, who's run out of original ideas .
