Fabulous stadium! We need a US Bands GN championship in Texas. Broken Arrow - you are formally invited to attend. Let the games begin (for the REAL GN Championships)!
The problem with them competing in Texas is that it will make their season cost astronomically more. From what I’ve picked up each member pays about $3500-$4000 a year and that is after the booster club commits to lower it with fundraising. Adding an extra trip would only make it go up. Not to also mention that it would also just not really work for their schedule looking at years past. From what I understand they had to miss St Louis last year became the state comp was the same day. And their concert all district auditions are scheduled to be in the gap week between their state competition and nats (which they are more obligated to attend). I also highly doubt that national will be hosted in Texas anytime so considering Lucas oil has a fantastic set up for hosting events like the BOA and DCI circuits.
@ I’m not saying go to both. St. Louis is a less competitive contest than Texas. Competing in Texas would make their dues less. They also went to Orlando which is Obviously more expensive than driving down.
@@kioka6281 Perhaps but USBands just hosted a major event last night. Hebron + 3 of the top 10 programs in the country attended for their "world-class" category, it was a fantastic event. I could see another legitimate competitor to the BOA GN Championships if USBands broadens this event.
@@ag225-ml I’m sorry I don’t think that’s a good idea. I used to think it would be amazing to bring it to Texas, but I have realized that it’s better off staying in Indy.
Why do they not compete in Texas. It woild be waaaaay cheaper for boosters and kids to come down here. Oh wait they're scared to compete with them in a regular basis in their home turf...
Does anyone know the music for this? I hear wild nights by John Adams but am curious about the other selections.
Harmonium: III. Wild Nights - John Adams
i love you - Billie Eilish
NO one to kNOW one - Andy Akiho
Come compete in your neighboring state Texas for once 😀
