Good Job guy. If ever you think "why should I post this or who am I to post this and that", please remember that I Shayla a real person, found this extremely helpful, as did several others. So please keep it up. I have impostor syndrome. I need to start posting things. But don't be like me. Keep it up!! Thank you so so much. You are very much appreciated ten fold!!!
Hello, tell me how I can connect the new remote control RR0016 (the old one is missing) to the Logitech Rally Bar, Graphite M/N VR0019. The device is now reset to factory settings. When loading the device, I cannot continue setting up, the interface asks to press the center button on the remote control 5 times, but the remote control is new. It needs to be connected to the device. The user manual unfortunately does not work: Press and hold the pairing button (the center button on the back of the video bar) for 5 seconds to launch Pairing UI. In Appliance Mode, the Pairing User Interface will start, then follow the on screen instructions. In USB mode, the Rally Bar LED will blink Blue to show the pairing has started. Press and hold the Volume Down and Zoom Out buttons on the remote. Once pairing is completed the LED will stop blinking. Pairing will timeout if no activity. I don’t understand what In USB mode is
You really need either a touch display or a Zoom room console. Either a Logi Tap, Tap IP or Zoom room console app running on a laptop or iPad will work. The remote is really just for basic device setup and to use as a basic controller (answer, end, PTZ or volume). Only Zoom rooms for touch include on screen controls.
Are there any other approaches for switching, that make sense of multi-platform offices. My office is constantly meeting with clients over a mix of Teams, Zoom, Google (whatever the client prefers). Wondering what the best approach would be since we really can't commit to just one platform.
You have a couple of options. Pick a provider you use most and put it in that mode. For joining other platform meeting you can use direct guest join. Then if you need a platform not supported by direct guest join, plug in USB and hdmi abd switch to byod mode. Or just use byod mode all the time. Again you can use usb and hdmi to flip to byod. Or for single cable switching use the logitech Swytch
I assume that did the trick. I did have a look and couldn't find this on any manuals or FAQs on Logi site. I just happened to know it somehow because when I first got the bar I didn't have an appliance mode. BYOD and USB only. And I didn't have a Tap console. Just a remote.
Hi ... logitech deserves a medal for this device. Sadly this doesn't do the trick for me. I am stuck in this HDMI screen can't get out. Don't have a tap controller just the remote. If I press the 2 buttons the bar blinks and then nothing happens ... Have a tip for a desperate fella ?
You can reset the device factory reset is performed with the following steps: Switch off the device. Press and hold the reset button. Switch on the device while holding the reset button for 15 seconds.

Thank you so much. These messages are why I do it
Thank you so much for this!
Very helpful to get an idea of how things work. Thank you
HI can you switch from teams to zoom room by this method or we need to reset the device
Going from Zoom or any other provider to Teams is just a provider change. Going from Teams to anything else requires a factory reset and OOBE
you are the best,

Just go into device settings, peripherals and pair new remote

Awesome. Thanks for letting me know. Happy to have helped
I've been looking for a solution for a week. Thanks a lot for the video. BTW, is there a manual where you could look this up?
There’s some online guides on the Logi site. But I couldn’t find this anywhere. I just knew how to do it. Glad it helped

You can reset the device
factory reset is performed with the following steps:
Switch off the device.
Press and hold the reset button.
Switch on the device while holding the reset button for 15 seconds.
@@UCStatus you cannot have the USB-C from the rally connected to anything (otherwise, it assumes BYOD mode)
That's deliberate
How do you find the password? I never created one?
1234 by default. But change it ASAP
