I was desperate for my helplessness, and at the same time, I thought it was important for me to do my best. Thanks to Norah Jones. Because of this song, I was able to do my best every day. thanks so much.
This song got me through a time of deep grief after the loss of a parental figure. Night time was the worst time….that time when you’re lying in bed quietly hoping to fall asleep. For months and months the only way I could get to sleep was to listen to the whole album of Come Away With Me, often on repeat. It was a comfort to my heart, like a salve, a hug, or a warm cup of tea. It would gently ease me off to sleep. Now any time I feel heart-sore, this song/album is my go-to. It was lovely watching these through the pandemic too. ❤ Thanks Norah, you’re the best ❤️❤️❤️
