I replaced 3 air struts on my 2000 S500 at $1600 each, at an independent euro shop ~ 15 years ago. Each time an air strut failed I had to be towed. Embarrassing how many times my "executive" car left me stranded. Spent $15k in repairs & maintenance over 30k miles of ownership after having bought it in what I thought was perfect used retail condition. Car was such a money drain...sigh.
Perfect world my friend! 5.0v8 4x4 with facelift , I sold that one already made $5k profit, But I just picked up from the Auction another 2004 S430 4Matic Silver on Gray which is my fav color combo with only 103k miles in near to perfect condition outside of the small body work needed, I paid $3575 for it and Body work should be done any day now… Hopefully I keep that one ☝️ How many miles on yours? Thank you
Does 4matic cause any problems? Im looking to buy s500 4matic 2005. Either that or s320 2003 petrol. How much more expensive is s500 to keep it running? And is 4matic problematic?
I recently bought one but needs work on it… it needs suspension fixed on it and oil change wasn’t a priority on it.. couple of fuses needs replaced and paint job … but low miles on it and these will last till eternity
Yes thank you for your Comment Vlad , I love Toyota and I have owned 8 different ones myself, however definitely my Mercedes Addiction keeps growing, just picked up another 2008 Mercedes-Benz S550 4Matic 79k miles rear ended in collision, will be making a Video on it soon as well. Stay tuned! Thank you and also Now my daily is 2004 W220 S430 4Matic that black One I sold and filled for Profit Made $4500 Net pure profit! Subscribe and thank you. @@alekscarguy5153 very nice! I drive a 2020 4runner - great truck, we’ve taken it everywhere, including the Rubicon trail. But I’ve been offered a very clean 2001 s500 with 80k miles, hence watching your video. Still haven’t decided if getting it as it has a few popular gimmicks (sunroof stick and moves in small increments, weird buzzing sound coming from one strut so I assume airmatic can go any moment, headlights go on and off, and a couple of smaller things)
@@alekscarguy5153 sadly it has already been sold for 3000€. It seemed to be near perfect condition… i couldnt find any issues at all. Anyway you snooze you lose 🤭

Thanks for this! Great content. Also saw you bought a 4runner. It’ll complement your Mercedes addiction nicely with some bare bone ruggedness

Any thoughts on s500 w220 2001 with 250k kilometers (not Miles)
I am really considering buying it, as it seems to be in extremely good condition
Oh and do you have any Price recommendation in mind? Just an estimate if everything is working properly
Price? Overall condition ?

You can reset the sunroof and it will work.
How you do that?
