I've seen the pumpkin head photo shoots before!! I'd suffer through the potential discomfort for some cool photos. 😂🎃 Aw, the grey witch kitty is so cute!! These are all such fun ideas. 👻
I saw a cool Tim took recently where they used a styrofoam pumpkin with magnets to hold the front and back together, which seems a lot less scary to me- a claustrophobic person, specifically with a fear of mascot heads
The first RUclipsr that I watched was wengie Lol I was seven on RUclips kids and I watched her back to school unicorn school supplies DIY video I thought it was so cool I literally got all the stuff to make every single one of the crafts in that video and I thought that I was going to be so cool lol
i actually started watching RUclips in 2019, when a friend recommended Moriah Elizabeths squishy makeovers to me. Before 2019 I only used it to listen to music. I couldn't understand why people spend their whole day watching RUclips. Now I fell into the art rabbit hole of RUclips and watch it the whole day too, haha

Haha yeah, now that I’m older and my face has slimmed down a little I can see why people would say that, but when I was younger I always thought it was weird
Just so you know, others don't actually wear real pumpkin in their heads. I mean that size of a pumpkin is quiet heavy. Maybe they used a realistic looking pumpkin that's made of different material...it could be silicone or plastic...maybe...🤷😌👍
The first person I remember watching on RUclips was LDShadowLady if I'm not mistaken. I still watch her and her Minecraft friends. It's been so many years and they are so nostalgic for me. I love the first drawing the best. I think it's so aesthetic. Megan u inspired and helped me in ways u can't even imagine

I THINK, the first You Tuber I watched.... was either Tamara Laporte (Willowing), or .... Suzie Blue.... and it was..... probably in 2010 or so that I started watching You Tube....... (not sure). I'm not sure I'd be able to handle a real pumpkin on my head, either... but I've been thinking about using a plastic candy bucket to do a similar thing. 🎃 WOW! I love all your artwork from this video. 💀👍 I love interactive bits in my art journal too. 😊👍 OH WOW!!! LOVE the skeleton hand page! That's my favourite from this video, but I do love them all.... 😃👍
Nice! I haven’t heard of them, it’s crazy how many “RUclipsrs” there are! I think I started watching RUclips in 2007-2008, but 2010 was definitely when I started watching it more. A plastic candy bucket would definitely be more manageable - just be careful with any sharp edges where you cut the plastic! Thank you!! 💜
Yes! There are so many You Tubers now. Yes, I was thinking I might line the cut edges of the plastic pumpkin.... with felt or something.... Of course, I have to GET the bucket before I can try it... I haven't been out where they sell them, yet....it might not be big enough, and if it isn't, then I'd have to figure out how to make it bigger... and stuff... 🎃
lol yeah pumpkins are pretty gloopy and would be really heavy to wear on your head. i could see a bunch of pumpkin headed people ending up just running into each other since you cant sae out of them 😝 that skeleton hand turned out really neat 😀
I first started watching youtube around 2007-2008 when I had just learned how to use the internet, and my first youtuber(s) was nigahiga. I still watch him, and I'm happy to see that he evolved but without drastically changing, if that makes sense. Edit: ngl those spotted lantern flies look kinda pretty. I hope they're not poisonous or something cuz I wanna pet them. Edit2: nvm I just googled them. They are evil little plant-vampires. Ki- ll them with fire.

That's cool, yeah it makes sense - pleasing "the algorithm" is always a struggle so I understand why some people make drastic changes, but that's great he's been able to stay true to who he is. Lol I chose nice pictures - in real life with their wings closed they basically look like long stink bugs 😂

So many youtubers I used to watch have either sold out or stopped uploading altogether... It's sad how a bunch of pointless numbers on a screen can cause so much pain. On a lighter note, it's funny you mentioned stink bugs since I just found out that the predatory stink bug is one of the lanternfly's natural predators.

omgg the last one is my favorite! I have a cool idea for you! Maybe you could redo the skeleton hand one, and make it like an animation waving as like a halloween intro. Every year you could use the intro and switch it back afterwards! It would make your channel so festive!

Omg literally as you were asking 'what was your 1st YT experience...' I thought "probably Fred" and then you said him! Hahaha It was him and that guy who did the "Muffins" video and "Shoes" song. At the time too, a website called "FunnyJunk" was very popular and I saw that "Badger badger..." song LMAO What year were you born, we seem to have the same youthful experiences!
the first youtuber I can remember off the back of my head is smosh (especially those animated baby vids they did) and some of those top 10 channels along with just random animation meme compilations, I can't remember what year I exactly started watching yt but I'd say it was around 2016-17? maybe farther back or so idk lmao
Plus when I was growing up we had those plastic masks with the rubber band and the small tiny holes for eyes, nose and mouth. I always felt too suffocated wearing those masks.
I know what you mean - I don’t think I ever wore a mask with any of my costumes, but my grandma had some of my dads old costumes in her attic with masks like that. I always did makeup/face paint instead! (somehow I was always decent at that, but could never figure out how to do more “everyday” makeup 😅)

I did the pumpkin head trend and you never think about how much the stem pokes down on the inside. Needless to say my head felt bruised for like a month.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I once done a pumpkin head photoshoot for instagram it’s on my channel too. I know it’s slimy but what I done is I wore a plastic bag on my hair (not face) and then you won’t feel it. But it took us 2 hours to carve it 😅

Fun sketchbook ideas. I really like the first and third ones. The cat is adorable. There had been rumors about Hocus Pocus 2 for some years now and I think I heard about it either coming to fruition last year or earlier this year. I thought it was pretty good, although the original is better.

It doesn’t have to be a real pumpkin you can actually do it with a foam pumpkin and I’ve done it before it’s super fun

There had been rumors about Hocus Pocus 2 for some years now and I think I heard about it either coming to fruition last year or earlier this year. I thought it was pretty good, although the original is better.
Thank you! Yeah I think I heard rumors about it years ago but I was just surprised they actually made it! I haven’t watched it yet, my sister has her fall break next week and I said I’d wait so we can do a movie night. Glad to hear it was good - the original is always better!
