Not everybody having these issues as I don't know anyone having issues But it cracks me up to see people say "see that's why I didn't get it" #TheresNoPerfectPhone
Thanks for this video. The issue is the proximity sensor. The double tap to wake should also use the sensor to check for something close to the phone. However, the sensor threshold/distance setting is too low to detect anything. Try putting your finger over the sensor (above the battery icon) when the phone is locked and double tap...the screen will still turn on. Samsung can patch this with software update hopefully. The sensor on my S10 plus works fine when on a call so they just need to apply the same sensor setting to "double tap to wake".
I took my phone off the charger it was 100% put in my pocket went to make a phone call 5 minutes after I took it off the charger battery level is 98% this is straight insane.
My S10 is draining 8% overnight after a full charge before bed, and it's pissing me off. I don't carry my phone in my pocket so accidental screen activation has absolutely nothing to do with my issue. I have optimized the phone, turned off AOD, bluetooth, set apps to be put to sleep when not in use, and this SOB is still draining at an unacceptable rate ... I love everything else about this phone, but I don't expect a $1,000 phone battery to behave like a 2 yr old battery.
First off this is my first ever Samsung device. Prior to this I had a Motorola and an HTC for the last eight or nine years. That being said, I noticed that the lift to wake feature was hypersensitive from the time I got it. All I had to do was move the phone a little bit and the screen went on. So I disabled it like on the second or third day I had it. Now I just use tap to wake and it seems to be a whole lot better. And it is in no way inconveniencing me.
All good with my galaxy s10 it's a beast been having the battery last two days and I turn it off once a week to clean all the junk and ram. Always be safe to your device no matter what.
I haven't had any of these issues with my 10 plus and getting way more than 6 hours of screen on time with max resolution and auto brightness. Just checked over 8 hours of screen on time with 22% left, hope you get your battery issue fixed.
I've had my galaxy s10+ for about a month now and never had no problems with the battery(I would always tell people how good the battery actually is) but for the past few days my phone has been draining overnight BAD! I put my phone down at 12 to go to sleep and my battery is 91% and I wake up and MY battery is at 61%... I've never let my phone die or anything and I have no clue why it started doing this all of a sudden...any help?
@@kenii28 I think the solution is always restart your phone every week and it will go back to normal and stop dieing so fast, your galaxy will send u a notification that it's been a week since ur phone has been restarted

Most annoying "bug" for me is that since Thursday night I haven't been able to connect to mobile data on my s10+. I've worked with both Sprint and Samsung on the issue. I am not alone in this as there are multiple threads on Sprint Community, Samsung, and Reddit where people are having the same issue. Sprint blames Samsung, Samsung blames carrier. If I'm not on WiFi I can make calls and send basic texts, no sending or receiving MMS messages even when on WiFi. In some busier areas around here (business districts) my mobile data has actually worked. But 1/4 mile out it crashes again. I was super impressed with this phone for the first week I had it.. now I'm just playing a waiting game for either Sprint or Samsung to own up and push an update to fix it. Also, my phone constantly trying to establish wireless network connection even though I have 3-5 bars LTE service makes my battery drain about 5% every 20mins or so. Bad news bears.
My S10+ when I barely got it had 2 day battery life with moderate usage. Now I gotta have it on power saving mode to make it to the afternoon without charging it. Those carrier updates and security updates just made it worst
An issue I have, is charge sensor. I'll be charging, and won't see any noticeable increase in charge until I reboot and sometimes not even then. Then a little while later the bat % will be close to full. I noticed issues after the initial updates.
i had this problem with my s10. it was my ride with motorcycle and my phone is on my pocket, that ride took about 25 minutes and i lost 6% battery.. wth is that.. hopefully samsung will fix this quickly
update: after June update, today I ride motorcycle for 45 minutes with my S10 in pocket and it drained only 2%. I think samsung has fixed this step by step :)
Thanks GregglesTV. Network Settings, Accessibility Settings Reset along with Tap to Wake and Always ON Display was turned off. After this, the battery drain issue vanished. I think S10 users can try this temporarily to fix the problem. Samsung should really fix this asap....
