I really appreciate that this scene takes place with All Might's emancipated form. I always got the idea that how he behaves in the muscle form is the face he puts on for the public, but when he's skinny he's much more emotive and honest about how he really feels. All Might isn't talking to Deku as the great symbol of peace, but as an old hero who was genuinely inspired by him. And that adds so much more to this scene.
That's the problem for those that always act tough and invincible, they can't vent to anyone. They can't express any fear, sorrow, or rage to anyone because it could impact their image. This is the same for All Might in his hero form
One thing I'd point out too is that is muscular form his smile is fake but in his shiny form it's genuine. Deku inspires him and he's happiest when he gets to see Deku grow and become an amazing hero.

I watched this scene during a time that I needed to see it the most. Strangely, the weekend before college finals lol. I studied hard, but was beginning to doubt myself if I was even gonna make it far. My dream is to help the younger generation and make the world a better place for them. However, the more obstacles I faced, the more that dream felt like a fantasy. I felt scared, frustrated, and almost close to giving up, thinking that the I was not fit for the the professions I was after. But at the right place at the right time, for some reason, even before I started watching the anime, I found this scene. Even though Deku is a fictional character, he resonated with me. I want to feel what he felt when All Might told him that he CAN become a hero. So I thought to myself, "If a quirkless, timid loser like him can work hard to achieve his dream, then so can I." This motivated me to work harder and keep going. The author's story inspired me too. Now, whenever my will begins to waver, I just remember where I came from and how I got myself to here today. I'm not going to doubt myself any more. I'm going keep looking forward with my dream right in front of me.
That’s amazing, I feel the same way, all I needed was to be told that I could achieve a successful career that I could achieve my dreams. Thankfully I have a very supportive family, and a loving God that gives me strength every day.
Through all of high school, everyone told me I couldn't become an engineer. That no matter how hard I studied, my SAT scores weren't there, and I could never get into any university and apply to be a mechanical engineer. Despite all that, my Dad kept telling me all the way, I can become an engineer. Now, I'm on track to graduate with my bachelor's from USF, working my butt off every day. It's possible guys. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Dreams can become reality.
Beautifully said, I’m in the same boat now about to graduate with a degree in biochemistry hoping to apply to medical schools soon to one day be a doctor. One time in my life I never would have thought I’d ever come this far and that I’d amount to nothing, but hearing others in the same position gives hope that anything is possible.
This is one of my favorite moments in the whole show. A very emotional scene for both All Might and Deku. Not to mention the track used in this scene (You Can Become a Hero), is my favorite in the whole show. It’s very nostalgic. I used to listen to it when I would be sad. It made me think that I can get through whatever I was going through. Just like Deku can become a hero. There’s hope inside everyone. Still gives me chills.

Everyone hates when characters show extra emotions. Incase of Deku people hate how he cries in a lot of the situations thinking it is a sign of weakness but I belive crying is beautiful in a way, shows you are vulnerable and life can be really tough sometimes. I think that depicts humans well. Not just some kinda stone cold MC who only knows to be a badass.

I absolutely relate to Izuku. When I first watched this scene, I started crying because I've always been the small, weak person with anxiety who didn't think they could do the things they dreamed of. Deku is a hero I admire because he was weak and worked hard to be strong so he could become who he was meant to be. Now, I remember him whenever I doubt myself and use his example to keep moving forward.

This motivated me to work harder and keep going.

👍🏻
FINALLY NO PEOPLE BEING A$$holes here throwing negativity here! YOU WORK THAT ENGINEER JOB! 😍💖✨🍬🌈🙏😫🥰😭🤩🥳😩
This is so beautiful!Well done
Beautifully said, I’m in the same boat now about to graduate with a degree in biochemistry hoping to apply to medical schools soon to one day be a doctor. One time in my life I never would have thought I’d ever come this far and that I’d amount to nothing, but hearing others in the same position gives hope that anything is possible.
Well done I wish u well In engineering!❤
Even though it's been a year since u posted this 😅
I believe that when we were all younger, we all dreamed of being superheroes. And my hero academia captures that feeling incredibly.
I wanted to be a vet when I was younger but when I grew up I figured I didn't wanna deal with blood 😅
And I don't wanna see the animals too hurt 😭
To all of you who wanted to hear it, but was never told:
YOU TOO CAN BECOME A HERO!
Watching this after the series ended hits so much harder now:'(
BRUH I TRIED SO HARD TO FIGHT THE TEARS WTF!
Me too!! Just that i did an extra too.. i didnt want to miss a part so i also tried my best to hold my pee 😅

He really got to say the same to a kid who idolized him just like all might, hold on brother I’m cryin.
If deku's class would see this, his whole back story, i'm sure, they would respect and understand him. I just want to see they reactions so badly! 😆

That moment still powerful probably the most Iconic you can moment there is in anime.
I’ve seen every popular shonen (I just started one piece so don’t kill me in the comments) and my hero is hands down the best out of what I’ve seen
Agree
Most shonen shonen
I agree
Boruto but k
It good too
This scene alone is why I find the Anime to be spectacular, I remember not really being interested in it for a while, then my sister really wanted to watch it, so I turned on and watched it with her...I saw this scene and I was in tears...I remember that day, I wanted to really watch this show...this show helped me through bad times and gave me good times ...it’s not my favorite...it’s not the best...but it’s My Hero Academia, and that’s a good title to have..
Legit brings tears to my eyes everytime; such a deep scene. Followed by the " Oh, by the way. I forgot to mention this is the story of how I became the world's greatest hero" chills
I remember watching this scene for the first time and tearing up. Imagine being told your whole life you can’t be a hero and then the person you admire the most tells you that you can.
It also really works because he was one of those who did say no you can't but changed his mind because he saw that he was wrong and was able to course correct quickly.
Plus, they seem to forget that Izuku is still a kid, not only that, he’s a kid with a shit ton of trauma since childhood, he’s been through some shit, I don’t blame him for crying so much, poor kid went through a lot.
i love how deku says this to another kid at the end that needs an ost
That 1 dislike is All for One...
Its when you body acts on your own to shed some tears
Deku: *cries*
All Might: ._.
Deku teaching at UA just like All Might after completing OFA and ending AFO is a great turn considering he wanted to be just like him 🥹

I failed 4 out of 5 exams. I passed the 5th test with a C. My professor told me to drop the class. But I rewatched this episode and decided to become the hero of my own story. I scored a 80% on the final and it replaced 2 exams. I did all of the extra credit and I passed the class with a 71%. Dreams can become reality. My brain is completely fried and I’m rewatching this clip crying. I’m 29. But I too can become a hero.
Congrats king
Update: I’m a Junior with 100units. I’m only 20 units away from my degree. It’s amazing how much one can accomplish within 10 months of focus
When I was growing up my dream was to become a super hero, then I came to realize that it couldn't happen because superheroes were fiction. Then as I grew older I realized that heroes while not super exist. And believe it or not after seeing this scene i made the decision to become a real hero. I am. A husband, a father of two boys .. and now I am a nursing school student 😀
@MERAJ AHMAD I'm not a hero... I'm just a person who wants to make a difference in this world.
@@iambutter2784 man, you are a hero, man. You taking care of someone that you don't know. Helping them to get better and better. That's what heroes do..... Well... Even though it just small thing

You're a hero to your wife and your children. Never give up on your dreams. Go Plus Ultra
this is what pulled me in. this. easily the most uplifting positive moment in all of Anime. Dreams CAN become a reality.
This scene inspired me to keep being a musician. My mentor saved me from throwing music away when I started college years ago. She never doubted me one bit and believed in me 100% no matter how good or bad of a musician I was...She passed suddenly and its just made me realize the amazing gift she has given me and to never stop calling myself a musician.
trying to conquer my fears of being an introvert...after live streaming for a while one finally popped tonight..i met so many amazing people....
came here to hear all might say " you can be a hero too"... that hits me in a different way...God bless.

People always forgets this scene deku was a child when his mother said he can't become a hero and people say he should've trained before he got his quirk....like the only person you have in your life doesn't believe in you and you've already failed before trying
its just sad that people always shit on deku too much
deku is one of the most over hated character in anime history
@@blank2736 I don't know why people hate him.His character is so positive and genuine. And it will have enough depth ahead in the manga.
It’s his destiny. He had to go through all that to motivate him to become the hero he was destined to be. All that hate fueled him.
"Guess I should go back to giving up on my dreams..."
What a mood
this is why deku is my favourite protagonist of all time he is just so relatable
I cry and get goose bump each time i hear this misic
Me too man legendary scene
Who have chills seeing this?
This scene always makes me cry. That longing to be something more is a core part of me. I cannot fathom what it meant to deku to hear those words
"Young man you to can become a Hero" those words hit me so hard and ever since I've been a huge fan of this amazing Anime
Deku’s cry is comparable to someone who finally got what they wanted, and they’re crying in joy. It’s infectious really
I am reapeating it this vid soi condition myself not to cry so much at this every time
Yeah, I cried with him.
when midoriya said “the words I needed to hear” then
all might “young man you too can become a hero”
that was touching
This is the story of how Deku became The World's Next Symbol of Peace
I absolutely relate to Izuku. When I first watched this scene, I started crying because I've always been the small, weak person with anxiety who didn't think they could do the things they dreamed of. Deku is a hero I admire because he was weak and worked hard to be strong so he could become who he was meant to be. Now, I remember him whenever I doubt myself and use his example to keep moving forward.
Everytime, I feel down and feel that I should give up on my college studies I come back here and get the inspiration i need to get back to it.
I can’t help but smile every time I see this scene 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I cry
I can’t help but cry and smile at this scene :,)
He made all might move on his own, he made him push his limits. Deku is the truest hero, who inspires and leads
I don't cry often. Usually something has to hit me hard.
This punched my soul with a 100% Plus Ultra United States of Smash. I paused and broke down, wishing I had heard words like this just once in my life.
That's all. Have a good night, MHA fans~
This was the most emotional thing I've ever saw. I'm glad All Might was able to speak with Izuku and explain how and what he saw in him.
When deku says to the kid you too can be a hero after he tries to jump after the falling child too, god I'm gonna miss this series
THIS IS WHY I LOVE THEM🥺THIS GIVES ME THE MOTIVATION I NEED LIKE TO NEVER GIVE UP NO MATTER WHat🤧IT MAKES ME CRY TEARS OF JOY EVERY TIME I SEE IT
And now it’s over 🥲
This scene is hella powerful. I've never experienced this feeling myself, but I can tell when you spend your whole life listening to people say you can't achieve your dream and then the person who enspired that dream tells you straight to your face that you can, you feel this fire in your heart, stronger than when it was when you opposed everyone.
Maybe its not the best anime but its definetely my favorite anime. So much inspiration and always makes me feel good. Thank you anime cuz without you my life would be harder.
The more I read the manga the more I realize how much this broccoli has grown. I’m proud of you Deku.
This scene will forever be etched in my mind. The words he yearned to hear, he finally heard them. 😭😭
Damn the Dub is amazing
After watching Izuku get his dreams crushed flatter than a can between my boot & the sidewalk over the past 2 episodes it felt so nice to hear this it was depressing cause I know a little of what that's like not gonna lie I cried too.
"The words I needed to hear"
Chills literal chills
When he say's dreams can become reality I've got goosebumps and feels positive ❤️
I love how much today's episode took inspiration from this episode!
Just wrapped up Season 6 and the story continues to amaze me. The character growth for such a large cast is so well done!
Just keep this in mind, he voice over in a scene, which means in that moment the person who said “How I became the World’s greatest Hero” is Future Deku who is the Symbol Of Peace, meaning it’s granted he will succeeded.
I know why you're here, it's the same reason I'm here. I want you to know youre doing your best, and no matter what's ahead, you're gonna see it through to the end. Be strong.
I cried manly tears of motivation.
reading the comments here, makes me emotional because this series changed my life for sure.
in my harderst moments i go for the most emotional cenes, where deku have been a true hero and remering his speech with all might where all might showed him that there is a future always make me keep going beyond every tough situation, because maybe you not reach what you desire but even so you must keep going because this is what life is made
