No horse deserves to end up in the Mexican slaughter houses or the Canadian slaughter houses , even before their painful ends they are often hit , starved , moved from auction to auction to earn an extra buck .... thank you and others who save many horses from untold cruelty.... giving them a new life so they may gain trust in human beings again !

    • @fortheloveofthehoof9345

      Absolutely the truth !!
It happens all the time .
The big brown draft cross had two auction tags on him and so did the big stud horse !!
      They are safe now

In the future, if you have to trailer a stallion with other horses, always put the stallion on first before there are other horses on the trailer. Once he is loaded and has the partition closed and his head is tied, most will fuss less. Congratulations on rescuing 17 horses!

I am so excited to see you guys on here after seeing you on horse plus!!!! And 17 horses saved is amazing, way to go you guys!!!!but please please please do not leave lead ropes on horses running into a pen....I watched a horse break its own leg from that....rather be safe than sorry.....can't wait to see more episodes from you guys

      Thank you for watching !!
The very unhandled horses like you saw we keep lead ropes on them for a specific reason .
We live very remotely surrounded by 1,000s of open range land.
The untouched horses can and will try and get out.
If they have lead ropes on it makes us that have to go and catch them on horse back a lot easier to manage , plus when it comes time to try and gentle them we can get them to come to us .
If they are not wild we don’t leave them on .
We appreciate you following us and join us !

Really like the new intro 😊
17 horses - that’s amazing! I had goosebumps all over that in the end you got ALL the horse you bid on - and the killbuyer didn’t get ANY at that auction! So happy for the older horse Viejo! He looks so kind and sweet. The stud looks beautiful - but so sore. Glad you got him safely to your place!

God answers all prayers, so put God first and pray and he will answer. The horses are all safe 17 of them thank god for all things, big and small, good and bad also everyday, I also pray that people will give you lots and lots of donations to help rescue more and more horses and all of these rescue places will get rid of the kill buyers and slaughter places, god is so powerful and I believe these kill buyers and slaughter places will disappear for good, keep praying and let God do the rest. Amen and thank god everyday even if it's good or bad be grateful of what you have and god will give more

It's memorial day, and I wanted to take a moment to thank all the brave men and women who have served in our wars and the efforts of support of civilians, who have sacrificed for all of us. Including you who save animals and care for them to save their lives. So thank you again I appreciate the freedoms you fought for and may God bless America.

Thank you all for what you are doing for these great animals. You for sure are living my dream .I have two saved from the kill pen. One from where I live in Pa. The other from a kill pen in Texas .I have saved many horses in my 60 years. But have kept pretty much all of them .Until their passing they where all in mid 20s to 30s.Two where younger and unsafe. Was afraid they could hurt someone. I have never had a lot of land or funds to do it big. So thank you thank you thank you The world need more people who hearts are as big as yours.

      Thank you !
Kill buyers don’t want the skinny sick older or very lame horses .
We did a podcast and a blog on why that is on our website .
      You might find that interesting.
There is also videos under our Horse TV page you might find interesting as well.
It unfortunately and very sadly comes down to the fact that those kind of horses are to much of a liability for the kill buyer and there is no money in it for them .
That is one of the reasons we ended up with Viejo once the kill buyer discovered Viejo age and weight he immediately was asking me to take it .
Of course no matter what I said yes !!!
      Our website is
      www.fortheloveofthehoof.org
Please feel free to browse it and read all about why the kill buyer doesn’t buy the skinny , sick, extremely lame and or blind horses .

I don't think that the Bay that Brandy is loading from 11 something to 12 something deserved to be treated that way. Looks like a stallion she's loading with mares. I just hope none of them were actually injured. The way she was treating him I would not be surprised if she didn't sour him from getting on trailers.

  • @stacyrich113
    @stacyrich113 Год назад

It’s nice what you’re doing but you should really invest in some trailers with ramps. It’s gonna be hard on some lame horses to jump on and off those trailers without ramps.
