I had a Digitone when they debuted. I loved the sounds but stringing bars together to make songs just didn’t work for me; I was doing it all manually.
I’ve had the PolyEnd Tracker for 6mos and it’s blowing my mind at how simply/fun it is for song creation.
Now it’s time to go back and add the Digitone for extra textures and various synth voices.
@@rishpanjeet7479 yeah the lack of song mode is disappointing. I just use Ableton as the brain instead

so close to pulling the trigger on a digitone. I currently run a digtakt and a modular synth connected by the fh-2 to do midi-cv sequencing. I really want a polyphonic element and i think that im leaning towards the digitone. Your videos and a few others have got me sold on the power of a digitone. cheers brotha!

Oh, one small ques, it is hard to create white noise and drum in general on the Digitone?
Thanks !! .. in terms of noise, the digitone is a bit limited. Noise can only be generated via feedback to the modulator or carrier. nevertheless, you can build great drums with it. Fm in general is great for percusive sounds. If you know how to build drums on a subtractive synth everything the model:cycles can do is possible and not much harder to do.
