Good stuff for just starting! Like the video and thought you put into - I’d consider having both knees on the backside driving the same direction down the face. Could help your bottom turn and get to a more critical part of the wave!

I am 55 with 45 yrs of surfing/shredding. My advice is buy a soft top fish 6" 5 and steal as many waves as possible. Yes foam is your friend and repetition is key to advance.
