Gumpaste Sweet Pea | Renee Conner

Sweet Peas are some of my favorite flowers to make for gumpaste flower arrangements! They are some of my favorite filler flowers, but also make beautiful arrangements grouped together. These flowers are delicate and beautiful, but also an easy flower to make so great for beginners.

Tutorial is very clear and absolutely beautiful. How soon do you dust the sweet pea after it's made.

Thank you... I usually let the gumpaste dry completely before dusting. They are delicate in the in-between stage... and also, you may end up with splotchy colors if the gumpaste isn't completely dry (the dust will cling to any spots that are more moist). The time it takes for the gumpaste to dry varies depending on your climate and recipe.
