Gorgeous 69 396. I learned how to shift on my boyfriends 69 396 4 speed. Yellow with black vinyl top. In 71 i bought mine. Still have. 454 4 spd 365 hp...antique green with blk stripes. Looks so much better with black stripes. Like a bear. Original except has a Hurst shifter. Its a part of me. I love it.
I owned from new 1969 Chevelle 396/375 HP L78! Mine was blue in colour. Black bucket seats console 4 speed rock crusher M22. 373 rear end gears with posi.
The 350 horse was a 402 CI. I had a 66 SS built from the factory with everything. 12 bolt Dayna, quick ratio steering box, M21 close ratio on the first 3. It was a street machine that ate all mopars all day long.

Sitting nicely in My Garage now
I had this exact combo car back in the 80's. Except mine had the 350hp engine, bench seat. God......I wish I had it back!
Still Lovin this car. She now sits on a set of Cragars.

Very nice, however the 396 325 H.P. is the low performance motor.

@@charlie6629 They didn't make the 402 until 1970. 12 bolt Dana from the factory? I don't think so.
@charlie6629 they were both 402 ...only different between 325 hp and 350hp was the cam everything else about the engine was exactly the same
@@nojunkwork5735not true they just didn't call it s 402 till 1970 but it was always a 402
