    Oh man another adventure in "The Outdoor Kitchen" and what a feast? I can see the logic of the tin foil but I wonder if you have also noticed the with different potjies sometimes the lids do not fit perfectly well. Suppose that is just bad workmanship. However your experience comes through here with the cabbage leaves and the tin foil. Thank you sooo much for that. Your channel is already a winner. Blessings 💖

      Hi Derick, sometimes the casting molds wear out
      on the edges and that results in an uneven lid fitting. To grind it flat with an angle-grinder is also an option. Regards Deon

    Did you say “collard leaves?” That looks more like cabbage.
