I remember Fresca. They used to have an add showing people opening bottles and a blizzard starting. When the blizzard of 66 hit Baltimore, one of the weather guys decided to walk around downtown. He must have been hit by6 or 7 bottles because he forecast sunny and moderate temps
Back in the 80s I had a personal encounter with a backdraft on a flight of stairs. I was the corner man on the engine and I was humping the line up the stairs. I had to go half way up to free a knuckle from the steps and next thing I know I’m on my back in the front yard and my gear was steaming. It messed my back up and I had to stop volunteering.
I remember a shooter that discharged at a bar in Flatbush on dart night and he ran out of bullets but we didn’t run out of darts puncture wounds and contusions for this fella
Hey have any of you guys ever work with DC Corrano? I think that’s right. He’s a RUclips star. TheMagisterium and Skyler Fire focus on him when their videoing a job he’s the boss on. He’s eloquent but in a classic New York style. You should have him on. I’m sure he could tell some stories.
John was all always a great firefighter/chief officer and good friend.
He’s my grandpa

In mention to your trio. You guys could be like The Hangover movie when Galafanakis sings, "Were the three best friends that anyone can ever have.".
You guys are great. If I was 40 years younger I’d take notes so I could ace the test and the academy. But I don’t think they take 66 year olds.
Chief Malkin should be teaching these safety lessons today...Come out of retirement and get on tour!
He’s busy being my grandpa
Nice great career.
Anybody remember the Bazzine warehouse fire on Greenwich st lower Manhattan in late 80s...high winds and freezing temps..
Nope, what happened there?
