- Even with how far video games have come, many children still love to play with traditional toys. Turns out there's a lot of work that goes into these playthings, whether they're made from wax, or 3d printed. Here's how they're made.

I saw this comment before the video really got started and I actually got excited
I love how it seems realistic at the beginning and then hits you with “fictional creatures like dinosaurs” or something
Dinosaurs still exist. Aligators, sharks, turtles, and birds were so "op" that they had to be severly nerfed.
Well technically you can't really know how they really looked like from the outside so the way we illustrate them is pretty much fictional :p
@@danielg9446 aligators, sharks, and turtles lived during the jurrassic period so we already can speculate how they looked like based on compairing current animilia which we know of that not only lived during that period but survived the extinction event.
Not only did most of the dinosaurs have scales but some of them were proto-birds which not only had feathers but like mammals of considerable size lost the need for extensions such as hair and feathers once they grew of large enough size like for example a T-Rex.
Certain small to medium proto-birds had feathers but those who were as large as a house didnt as they were big enough to regulate their body temperature more efficiently in the climate they lived in like for example an elephant or hippo who are also considerably big and thus hairless.
If it's a big enough dinosaur then it doesnt have any hair or feathers

Man...I wish my dinosaur toys looked this cool and realistic when I was a kid. Mine all looked like they had been inbred for 10 generations and were just solid red. Props to the people who made the design.

Thank you for the video. I worked in a factory assembling figurines for many years. I don't know what's harder, working a monotonous, soul crushing, factory job day after day, or trying to sleep at night after having to kill the figurines that gain sentience.

Ignoring the satirical voiceover, this is one of my favorite how it's made kinda videos. The process is so crazy, time consuming and careful to detail...and all for making a little plastic toy that will get sold for cheap.
these specific toys are actually pretty expensive, 15-30 dollars per figure

I believe these dinos in particular are from Schleich so they fetch a bigger price, but they so make some very nice products.

@@kalumW Technically, it's not even supposed to be this noticable unless the dinosaur was on the brink of starving to death. Usually there's layers of muscle and fat that make it all look smooth. People get that wrong all the time when depicting dinosaurs, they always just shrinkwrap skin over the bones.
If I remember correctly, the cell they put magneto in would create an equal but opposing magnetic field inside it if he tried using his powers. It essentially cancelled out anything he did with a magnetic field of its own, much like noise cancelling headphones
One of these videos is eventually going to be completely normal and it's going to be impossible to tell if he actually did anything to it or if it's just the actual script.

Oil has never been made of dinosaur bones so no. Dinosaur bones are extremely valuable. They just use fossils of random sea creatures that have deteriorated too much to study or anything. Not dinosaurs and not bones.

Kinda makes you wonder how they're able to use relatively grounded artwork and models of dinosaurs as a reference point and end up with something so utterly unrealistic. I mean some of them have even got the classic 1930's kangaroo posture that's been out of date since that era

Granted, most if not all of the dinosaurs shown in the video were extremely unlikely to have any form of feathers. Its possible t rex mightve had some feathers, i personally think its unlikely due to the lack of proof and the fact that they couldnt have been very useful on that species from my knowledge (there was a pterosaur in there but i couldnt actually tell if it had feathers or not on its body)
My best meals that I have enjoyed the most are when Hugbees release a new video!
