These are the travel apps we use almost on a daily basis as we still need to stay in touch with the modern world. Some you may use or have heard of and some may be new to you. We hope some of these apps might be able to help you when going on holiday or travelling Australia.

Hi Guys - great watching - have many of those apps already however one you should look at is Emergency Plus - you can call for help from the app and give your precise location using 3 words (what3words) or long/lat coordinates. Keep up the good work.
Definitely, this is front page 1st app on our phone for obvious reasons. Has gps coordinates to help you give exact location, however not good if no phone coverage. But that’s why PLB’s are for remote tourers.

great video, you guys are such fun, we have been on road for 16 months now and all around Australia, found Petrol Spy to be a lot better than Fuel May Aust and more up to date, agree Google Maps can take you some interesting ways when not on main routes but you can download maps for all of Aust that works 100% when off line, there were some you highlighted that I will download and check them out, thanks

Horizon - for all those people that can't stand vertical videos
And if you are using a bluetooth OBDII scanner, an app that can read and reset vehicle fault codes.

Fuel APP is amazing, I dont use it for the cost, I use it to track fuel consumption as my fuel guage doesnt work! Glad you mentioned this one!

Having a list of apps that people use on a daily basis is definitely a very good idea. There are so many apps these days so knowing which ones work well is a next-level benefit. Thanks for providing them. 13 days did you say? Must be a nice place with plenty to do. Good on you for sitting still for a change! Sometimes I get tired just thinking about all that setting up and putting away you guys get through. I would be sick of that after the second time! 😁
Yes, we left with a bunch of apps but end up using the same ones over and over yes 13 day?s! It's nice to just stop for a while and we have some awesome people around us! Might leave after 9 but the campsites are all so busy at the moment it's difficult to get bookings. Hope you ha e an amazing weekend!

Great video. I’m new to your channel and have some catching up to do. Love your down to earth approach and style.
For a phone mount I found a motorbike mirror mount with induction charging. It bolts to the grab handle screw, locks the phone in and doesn’t wobble. Cable neatly and permanently plugged into an accessory fuse.

Hey guys, loving all things Justvanningit!! We have gained many useful tips for our upcoming departure, as well as a few laughs!! Exciting! We were wondering if you use any lock for your caravan while you leave it unhitched and do day trips. We plan to do mostly offgrid camping so possibly quite remote, just wondering what you guys do for locking up. Thanks so much.
Thanksnso much for the feedback! Its lovely to receive and happy you are enjoying the content! Yes we have a pin lock for the caravan. We just bought one at Supercheap auto. Will try and send a pic. You can also get and alarm that sounds and alerts you if someone is tampering with the van that I have heard of.

Regarding your bloody clock. You can cover it up but it is still crooked. All I can look at is that towel. The last two weeks it was the clock. So now I see a crooked clock covered up by a towel.

It’s up to date with pricing and you can save 30c per litre in some areas. Have a look at it.

Derik you need to be careful how you say ‘’I need to get my eyes tested’’ I don’t speak kiwi or Australian but I asked my kiwi client why are his eyes so red. He turned away and walked away. I was puzzled- later that day I went to ask him if I had offered him, he said Lionel - how can you ask me if my arse is red- I almost died- I said to him I asked you why are your eyes so red not arse. Lol be careful the way how we South Africans say eyes - the kiwis and Australians hear arse. - I was so embarrassed- I stayed away from him for a month. Lol you two are just fabulous

You did mention hip camps....well we did use them once with a bit of a problem, had we not had the issue re getting a refund we would not have known that America was involved....do not wish to be a negative, but we will never use them again because of there origin....sorry..
