Hi again just read this comment. I purchased media mod and also purchased dji wireless mic kit, it comes with 2 mics so could suit you guys. It improved my audio dramatically Cheers Out There Touring
@@ottouring yea we have the same but when you using the gopro on the boat and in the water we don’t use them but the microphone on the gopro seems to be a bit how you going after using it water for a while which shouldn’t be the case.
@@justvanningit Yeah ok. What GoPro you using. I’m using 2 GoPro 9 and haven’t noticed that. The only issue I’ve had was when I got bogged at K’gari and lost a lot of footage. I’ve heard people complain about that and wasn’t sure why it happens. I’ve worked out that if you try to record to quickly as soon as you turn the GoPro on it will do this. You need to wait a few seconds and allow the GoPro to go through its setup to eliminate this problem. I will do some research and test for audio issues. Cheers Out There Touring
Derrick, Top tip. You have lithium set up. Cook your kebabs in the sandwich press. No mess from spitting oil and you only have to turn them once. Give it a crack mate you will be amazed. Safe travels. Hope to see you on the road.

Hi really enjoying watching your travels, we are currently waiting to take delivery of our new offroad van and will be heading off on an extended trip around Aust, I do have one question for you though, how does your starlink setup work if it is raining ??, we are looking at purchasing one for our van, and watched a utube video you relased some months ago, thanks Les
That is really exciting Les, best of luck with delivery of your new van and your bug trip. Starlinks unit is waterproof so you can leave the dish in the rain. Sometimes drops out for a couple of seconds but still works!
