Never have I been repulsed, horrified and angry at an antagonist, since hearing Tommy Taffy. How horrible for the poor girls! And to also do such a thing to the poor girl's family... This needs a sequel, in which someone finally takes care of the old wicked monster. I'm iffy on the story, but you still hit the nail in the coffin with your devilishly delightful narration.
Damn, so sick part of me loved the ones when the protagonist doesn’t have any magical solutions/wit or plot armor. Just a bad time all around for her. I’d love to see Maestro get his comeuppance from someone though!
I don't because those aren't really protagonists, I mean technically, they are, but you get what im saying. We don't want to hear about every side character, stories should be told for the outlier. The one who was different from all others.

Even if the story ends up with them living I like a good amount of conflict so I totally getcha

Also, I think the real villains here are the boyfriend's parents, for grounding him over some grades. Never a legitimate reason to punish a kid, if they're not slacking on purpose. A lot of people would be alive if his parents weren't so strict.
So the real villains are parents disciplining their child, not the ravenous soul stealing monster?

Very unsatisfying story, started great, than just misery, depressing, and unnecessarily cruel. Predictably boring writing.
I hate to be the one that nitpicks over small things.But demons would not Bow to a vampire, a demon has never lived b4 its only scared of GOD ALMIGHTY...A vamp is similar but its essentially still a man that can still die...demons not so easy
