Hi Friend The Fish 🐟 Lover Is Seeting Behind You And Listening 🎧 Very Seriesly And Also Very Much Curiously To Start As Soon For There Feed Family Happy Survival 🐈😺🐈🙋
Hi GT. I wish these calculations were this simple, but they are location specific. It depends on the value of the land, what farming system to be used, the cost of labor, electricity, PLs, feed, etc. etc. which vary immensely depending on the country (and provinces) you are at. The profit will also depend on the size of the shrimp and how much you can sell it for, which also depends where you are (after subtracting all expenses)...
Very informative thanks. If I have to chlorinate my pond bottom to remove any infection when should I do it whether applying before No3 and lime or after it. Currently how we are preparing is removing the top layer and keep placing it sides of the pond then we fill the water and chlorinate it for disinfection. We stock pl in the range of 25-40 per sq mt.
Use hydrated lime CaOH or burnt lime CaO on dry soil between crops for soil disinfection. But my best advice is to do what is done in Indonesia, Vietnam, China, etc. = line your pond
In biofloc too, initially we have to maintain CN ratio. Sir, can I go for sodium or calcium nitrate to increase nitrogen level in lined pond water prior to shrimp stocking...in order to form floc? Sir, if yes , then how much of sodium or calcium nitrate should I add for per metre cube of water volume in my pond? Sir, your valuable answer will definitely help my pilot project on biofloc culture.
Guru, can you explain the pro and con using soil ground and HDPE plastic in Vannamei Farming ? also the pro and con using Seawater and Backrish water? 🙏🏼🙇🏻♂️ I think many people want to know.
brackish or seawater not much difference, just Oxygen saturation is lower the more salt there is in the water, so need be even more careful with oxygen in seawater
Sir what if we have no chance of drying the bottom due to seepage issue ? Can we use bleaching powder @ 600 ppm per I:e 25 bags per hectare at 2 feet depth of water + chain dragging the bottom soil to make chlorine reach the sludge layers
Hi, then you have a serious (project) problem. If you cannot dry the bottom completely you cannot farm shrimp successfully. No matter what you try you will end up losing money.
@@laxmanindukuri399 that may be better than nothing, but in the long run this system will not be very productive, and difficult to make profitable crop. It may be an expensive hobby, but not commercially profitable. Your farm was badly projected I'm afraid, you better have worked with tanks above the ground. If it is not possible to make the pond dry for at least a few days (using pumps for instance), you will have issues with high organic matter and diseases.
no difference in preparation, but as monodom is more aggressive, more carnivorous, and not as tolerant to environmental stress than vannamei, the carrying capacity will always be lower.
Excellent episode. Probably the best aquaculture channel out there. Keep up the good work
thanks Sergio

Its free and its fantastic
Thank you
Hi Dr Jose!!! Please make a video estimated value of 1acer pond+expenses+aerators cost+profit+feed cost =profit...

Perfect speech
Thank you so much for such an informative video. Love the whole playlist!
Thanks for your support
Superb 🐟🙋🐟
Hi Dr.. new culture starting 1pond 1acer =total 10acer pond...wish me to success!!!!!!!!!👍
Sir it oxidises bottom well before stocking. But what about oxidising the bottom after 40 DOC in a running culture?

Sir pls make a video on ammonia management, and also how to lower ammonia during the culture. As in our earthen pond ammonia shoots up at 60 doc.
what density do you have?
Excellent info. Just one question lime and trutification should be done at the same time or after some gap
what yo mean by trutification (I don't know this word)...

Dear Ravi, that's exact the topic of our next video, I will cover preparation of water . Thanks for watching
Please discuss how prepare a pond using liner

with soil you can't use super intensive > 80/m2 because heavy aeration needed will stir up the soil and clog the gills of the shrimp.
brackish or seawater not much difference, just Oxygen saturation is lower the more salt there is in the water, so need be even more careful with oxygen in seawater
If we apply nitrate to the pond during the pond preparation will it have a major impact to the pond
Yes, a positive impact :) if done according to the criteria and amounts recommended, good luck !

@@hashtagfish8542 sir wont the disinfecting bottom with chlorine help me ?

Why our water in pond liner become red during 25dys from shirmp stocking
Did you collect a sample and looked into the microscope?
Is there any differences in bottom preparation and carrying capacities between monodon and vannamei?
no difference in preparation, but as monodom is more aggressive, more carnivorous, and not as tolerant to environmental stress than vannamei, the carrying capacity will always be lower.
@@hashtagfish8542 Would adding calcium peroxide help to increase carrying capacities?
Great videos ..love seeing baby
You are so kind, miss you Dianne
this wont happen in a pond with liner, right?
Hi. No, you should not put tractor in a pond with liner :). This video is for ponds with soil.
How can i contact you to work with you
