- Scott Robertson is confident that they've selected the best 23 to take on England this Saturday in the All Blacks' first Test match of 2024.

Perofeta has done nothing this season to warrant selection and is only in the squad due to Leon McDonald insistence. Everyone knows Love was the best fullback in Super Rugby not to mention the best under the high ball in NZ.

@@satt4539yeah man worst case scenario you can pick someone else at the end of the year tour but at least you get to look at who’s ready for test match rugby and who isn’t

@@rippedup1931 that’s what I thought but I believe it was the Aotearoa rugby pod or 2 cents rugby who broke down the winger defense stats and Clarke had the best stats.
@@rippedup1931not true. Read the stats!!! He's a great defender & great under the high ball & makes the breaks & yards. He works hards. It's all in the stats!

I was a bit gutted neither of the big dudes, tamighty or tosi and I was really wanting to see sititi run rampant. Also is clarke injured?
Look its a start of a new world cup cycle meaning the workd cup guys were gonna start the likes of Williams maybe the next test or definitely tosi I expect tosi during fiji
@@EdgarJnrJnr yeah agreed. Its a lot of pressure for the newbies i guess. Good to see perofeta in there I would of been gutted seeing beauden start at 15. Hes great on the bench though
@MA-ik7ys I won't lie I wanted beauden to started I'm more of the opinion to start the guys that are the best and know eavh other for the two England tests then Fiji I would introduce new guys like tosi, love and etc for Fiji I wouldn't play barret and co
Razor said two players were 'carrying' (injuries) when asked directly about Clarke, and weren't considered for this week....
@@glennwoods2462 clarkes metres average was something special in super rugby. Doing a sevens stint to lose the fat was worth it.

Perofeta is not test caliber and definitely should not have been given the start . I believe Rubin Love should have been selected over Perofeta.
Good on Razor for giving Perofeta a go! He did his dues last year. These talented guys need to keep getting out on the international field & hone their skills. You can't just drop them when you see some young bucky play well. They have to wait their turn & do their dues as well. Wishing Perofeta well & hoping he plays an awesome game!!! He deserves his spot!

Once Jordan is healthy there will be no room for Perofeta.
