Their snow plow contractor didn't show up! Easy money for me!

- It was a long couple of days plowing and salting but spring is is sight and concrete is right around the corner. It's hard to believe that a large complex would have a snow plow contractor not show up but that's what happened. It worked out good and I made some good money. Enjoy
Showing the interaction with the property manager has to be one of the most useful bits on how to handle contracting. Thank you sir!
im way to nice to people
"30 Days not longer"
Free education is hard to come by. Only the smart ones peeped that.
It helps that the property manager was really nice and chill. He made it clear that he wanted both parties to be comfortable in the deal. Some managers aren't so friendly and that's when problems really come up.
@@LeedleLee457 It also depends on how desperate they are, he was really desperate. Being unfriendly or mean wont do him good since you can just say no thank you and leave.
@@theunqualifiedgamer2344 Same i have to start doing things differentlly. I noticed the way I handle business is almost like they think theyre doing me a favor by paying me or giving me work. Gotta be more firm

I’m sure he swears off camera with the guys and just in daily life but he knows his kids and thousands of people are watching his videos and he’s also the owner of a company
@@_dre_718_I’m not sure about that. He’s said a couple of times that he doesn’t swear. He knows the guys do and wants to keep his channel family oriented which is why he mutes it out.
I love how wherever Ryan goes he knows someone working there. Seems like treats everyone with the same respect and takes care of his city, as well as his family. He definitely seems like a good human.
Subscribed due to the fact that you actually cared for those people, even a small gesture like hearing them and clearing their spot could have made their day my guy! Keep up the hard work!

Agreed, I've watched 2 or 3 videos before this for the concrete work and this video is the one that sealed the deal. Some people would have ignored those residents and just kept going, the fact that he stopped, talked, and helped strangers that he will probably never ever see again convinced me to sub. a hour of content!? YES PLEASE! also thank you for clearing the spots when they asked you, those extra 30 seconds probably made those people so relived to feel cared for. even if it was a small thing on your end, for them being heard and cared for probably made the bad situation of being stuck that morning a bit more bareable knowing people are kind and will help.

The character ryan shows to not turn down a single person that comes up and ask to clear there spot is amazing. Doing something he didn't agree to do just out of kindness.

Ryan is a man of GOD. Not everything in life has to come down to money, or what you can get outta the deal.
He's a good person. However when it comes down to work and someone's time involved, money or some sort of future payoff is always the deciding factor. Not stating there's anything wrong about that, but it's human nature for survival, to deny that is like denying 2x2=4.
You’re a good man Ryan. I know and understand that you’re in it to make a living but I’ve seen on multiple occasions you going beyond the call of duty to help others. IMO, that’s what makes you who you are. Have a good one, be safe out there.

Love the videos Ryan. I might seem like EASY MONEY to a lot of people, but I wanted to say thank you for the hard work you put into these videos. My name is Seth. I went out of work with a spine injury March 2021, that's when I found your RUclips page and have been following along with you and the crew since. Your videos have helped me tremendously during this time. Thank you for allowing me to "tag along" with you and the crew. It gives me a sense of workplace environment that allows my mental health to stay sharp while my physical health is recovering. Watching these videos over the last two years, with all of the ups, the downs, the starting and completing of projects, and all the laughter in-between, gives me that mental feeling of still being at the job with the crew and also a level sanity (and therefor joy) that I cannot thank you enough for. I live in NEPA and did snow removal yesterday. Now I'm watching another person do it lol.
As someone who grew up with 3 farms in the family filling the skid sterer with On-highway diesel seams so wrong..... we used to occasionally get off highway delivered to the fields and straight into the equipment and the fuel companies were more than happy because there was always enough equipment to empty the trucks after deliveries to other places.
Don't live in a area that gets hardly any snow, but it seems to me that these guys that get out and plow in that weather have a very important role

Seeing you making all those people happy really made the video for me and all of them showing their appreciation really topped it off.
@2:50 Ryan Hall is legit. He was a weatherman on a local station that used to just do weather videos but went full time on RUclips. Ryan, and meteorologist Andy Hill are part of the "Y'all Squad" and their forecasting is spot on. I watched their entire stream during hurricane Ian hitting Florida and they were on the money the entire time. The biggest thing was even without power I could still get real time live information as the storm was coming inland. I didn't have to wait an entire hour for a 5 minute segment. There are many, many people claiming Ryan and Andy saved their lives during the recent tornado outbreaks as well. They are college educated professionals that are on RUclips, not just YT personalities or shock jocks. Personally, I do take them seriously.
I used to watch Ryan Hall when he was doing vaping videos. Cool to see he's still on RUclips. Hearing his name randomly in this video threw me for a loop. 😂
I'm pretty sure RUclips recommended this to me because I watch Ryan Hall so much. It's amazing to have somebody not just spitting out percentages, but actually explaining what is happening, why it could be different, and how certain it is.
Ryan Hall's video titles & thumbnails got too clickbait-y & sensationalist for me, so i stopped watching his stuff.
@@davecrupel2817 Yeah, the thumbnails are a bit clickbaity (like all YT channels are now), but the content is always good. tbh I don't really look at the thumbnails, I just see he put out a new video and watch it.

That is a lot of work! Plowing gets old quick, especially condos and apartments. I really admire the way you handled that last job; good attitude, clean work and willing to help out those tenants - we need more examples of that in this world. 👍🏼
One thing I learned from doing snow removal is never be greedy! Let your guys come in rather its super bad or not to bad at all and they will always be there for times like this when you really need them and it makes for much happier employees financially!
I'm a year plus late but ..... No not exactly, especially with the guys Ryan has. He's the only one that will show up no matter what so yes ..be greedy in this particular situation. Other situations maby not so much. Would you turn down 1500 to plow for 5 hours if you already had all the equipment?
your committed to getting it done and very nice to go out of your way for some of the residents
New subscriber here.... you guys out that way (Mass here) are a whole different breed and I mean that in a good way. Everyone seems genuinely happy. If I were to pull up to that condo complex or appartment complex, I would have probably been in the worst mood.... Wouldn't want to do it, then all the people coming up and asking me about clearing their space etc would have pushed me over the edge. I don't really have much patience, but watching you and how you are with people definitely makes me want to change my ways. Keep up the good work.

My first time watching. Thank you for helping the people at the complex in the end. My back is in bad shape and you have no idea what it means when someone just helps you out, most of the time they won't, so thank you and your great attitude!!! I asked a guy mowing my neighbor's yard once to mow behind my fence, right beside her lawn. Three straight swipes, no obstacles to go around, maybe 25 feet each. He was on a 60 in mower. You would have thought I asked for the world. He did it, though very begrudgingly. I asked him how much I owed and he said 20.00....I gave him 40. Then he wanted to pick up some lawns, I guess so he would have a lot in one area, but the attitude he gave me that first day, I just called another company. First impressions mean everything.

Just discovered you and crazy to hear Ryan Hall mentioned. Highly recommend for anything weather related, him and his team are my go to.
I hope your clients appreciate your attention and dedication to providing quality service. Our current snow removal contractor likes to send emails informing how they will be waiting for snow to completely cease before clearing - so I guess we weren't left wondering, for whatever that's worth. Meanwhile, folks still need to be able to get out or in. Thankfully I never got rid of my snow blowers, and have cleared neighbors garage doors from drifting, as well as the road on multiple occasions so folks don't get stuck. I understand folks get busy, but if you can't handle the workload, don't take it on. I would much rather give our business to someone else that is looking for work and willing to put in the effort. Unfortunately, our current HOA refuses to find an alternate contractor...for now.
That's at least a $2 - 2.5K job...

We found 95% of our breakdowns were triggered by stop and start type shut offs as that is when issues show. We have a rule, once the machine starts for a storm...it never gets shut off until storm 100% done. Fuel it running, evening if sitting for two or three hours we dont shut it off. Way less machine down emergencies since then. Just what works for us.

You are a good human being! You earned yourself a sub n like! Love from Norway. We can understand the struggle with snow!
Good job young man!! You definitely made some folks happy and may have saved someone from havin a heart attack. You definitely have a good setup there equipment for the job. I live in sw Missouri just have a couple of places to plow and do our county road but it don't pay anything just help my neighbors. I just have a little Mahindra 1626 open station tractor with loader and angle blade. Thanks for sharing enjoyed watchin. Be safe have fun
This is the type of guy I'd love to work for! Thanks for being a great man Ryan!
You’re a Good Man Ryan! Nicely done!
I love your videos. This is my 37th. Plowing season working commercial properties mostly. We all get tired with long plowing a salting hours. I’m sure you were tired moving his snow back on his side,,, that was a rookie move, but I understand why you did it. Great video. Looking forward for the next one.
As far as pushing that guys snow back onto his property ........ you 100% did the right thing; he might be out there earning "EASY MONEY" but he has to be smart enough to do it correctly. A year ago if someone would have told me that I'd be watching cement dry and some guy pushing snow I would have said you're crazy; but here I sit watching every video you push out, great job buddy.
