Been there done that twice, great video and great equipment review. Great job parents! The edge wedge is the best invention for little skiers who haven’t developed the leg strength or coordination. Can not stress lots of breaks before the meltdown! Carry a pocket full of hand/toe warmers and granola bars! Welcome to skiing little ones!
God I’m glad I found this video. I used to be an avid skier and snowboarder going multiple times a week.. I now have 3 sons (3,2& 9months), so life is obviously changed. But I do want to start getting them into the things I enjoyed and see how they like it.. thanks for sharing the tips!!
Your family is so inspiring. We went with the lil ripper gripper and it was perfect. We took my 19 Month old out Monday and as he put it...He "had the happies"!
This video was amazing. My toddler watched it after day one and got a better idea of what’s going on and had a lot more confidence and enthusiasm on day two.
This video is really cute but as a ski instructor myself I don’t personally agree with some of the methods use. 1) at my mountain and probably other we don’t teach kids under 3 years old. They do not have the strength to really stop themselves and turn. At 3 it is still hard and I teach them all the time. It’s possible but I feel that 1 year old is too young 2) the harness is a terrible teaching tool you are starting your child off by teaching them a bad habit with the harness. They tend to lean back because your pulling on them which makes it 10 times harder to turn. We teach by skiing backwards in front of them, that way the reach for us and have to do it all on there own with us in the front to make sure they are safe. I personally think it’s always better to put your child in ski lessons because we know how to teach skiing vs just knowing how to ski. The tool on the front of the skis are a nice tool and I like them for young kids but by 5 they should be have to try on their own. Skiing is a sport I love and I would hate to see so many kids that struggle because they are not ready. Having an instructor means they can give you tips on how to practice and what they worked on and is easier on parents because then you know they are learning in the best way they can!!
I was an instructor for years...skied backwards in front of hundreds of children to teach them...they learned I used a harness with my daughter at age 2 and she rips at age 4. Got my son up at 18 months and he is independent on skis at 3. So whose way is correct? The one that works.
Right on. I love love love skiing going up to the Poconos next month. You guys enjoy be safe on your journey and have lots and lots and lots of fun 💙🌈🙏🏻🌹🙋🏻♀️🐕🚐Jen n Javy
Kristine Speer just stitch a small buckle and strap on to the bottom of the snow pant (like an old snow gator or 1/2 webbing) (with the buckle on the outside for easy access) or use flat elastic, or paracord and tie a knot.
Kids don’t want to hear adults talk! They want to figure it out themselves! Having good equipment is the first and most important step because as a parent you can’t teach when you and your child are uncomfortable!
I believe it's a bit selfish on the parents side to put on skis on such a small toddler. At that age he has way more fun just playing in the snow without skis. Wait till age 4 he should understand better what's going on
@@flagissimo My 18 month old son had a complete meltdown when the rest of the family went skiing...so we started taking him. He smiles laughs and loves it. He is starting to ski independently at 2.5 now. The insinuation that it is selfish of me as a parent to spend my whole day making sure my child has a fun time on the slopes, instead of dropping him in daycare while I go slash pow is frankly insulting. Thanks for the parenting tips. How about stick to parenting your own children and quit judging others.
I’m not a skier but this video is amazing. He’s learning to ski not long after learning to work.
Parents have done a great job to start so early,

This video was amazing. My toddler watched it after day one and got a better idea of what’s going on and had a lot more confidence and enthusiasm on day two.

Très bon concept de ski pour petits !
Wow. Great work with your little one. I'm taking my 4yo for the first time today.
I had a 3 year old tell me that pizzas are round ;) so we call it a triangle, way better :)
Love this yall. So so good.
Loved this video , thanks for sharing ❤
This video is great!! Exactly what I needed
Great product and tips guys! Love getting my little ones on skies!
What brand ski suit is the kid wearing? I’m trying to find one for my boy that covers his hands like that
Amazing. So you can put the harness on right away? Or do you need to do some prep with the toddler first to get him comfortable on Skiis first?
Sell me those little skies. What brand are they. Where did you buy them. Help.
What is the little tool holding the skis in pizza, called? Where can you get it at please?
Any tips for loading / unloading on the chairlift. I have a 3 year old that is ready to rip and wants to go on the big hill 😂
Question. Where did you find boots that small? I can't find any for my two year old
Love this! Where did you find the snowsuit with the zip-on mittens?
Awesome! Who makes the onesie with the built in mittens!? Those are clutch! Thanks in advance!

Also this is a video of their son at 3.... It seems their method worked out just fine...

Отличная идея со связкой носков лыж

omg this is too cute!!!! I want to teach my 2 year old, but wasn't sure if he was big enough!
littlejessmo if they can stand and walk a little bit? They can ski!😉
I love your video!
This is amazing!
Awsome! :D I wanted to wait till my daughter turns 2.5 but you convinced me. I'll try it this year...

You won’t regret it!
Great tips!
How did you do the lasso to hold the boot on, I'm totally confused and need to know! 😜💛

I wish my parents were generous enough to teach me how to ski at 1 and a half years old
it's a relatively expensive endavor. please remember that
That's awesome!
i always start with “a slice of pizza pie” and place their hands on knees …that will keep the child forward
is that a dog line for babys omg cool
But did they consent?
so cute
Cuteness!!!
so cute!!
Good luck beauty full esporte energia saudavel
:)
Great commercial
She talked the product more than teaching lol
Kids don’t want to hear adults talk! They want to figure it out themselves!

He can barely walk and already put to ski
this is bullshit, the kid needs to taste the snow, needs to be one with it

Not if your kid loves it.
@@boardie00 or maybe it's their parents who love it more, think about that

What did you with your kid???? That is not the right how to teach skiing🤦♂️. Terrible.
?! Are you going to make any recommendations? Or just criticism?
Looked exactly right to me. He’s 1.5 yo and shredding hard. Perfect job Mom if you ask me
way to go messing up your childs knees, only a stupid person would put a toddler on skis.YOUR ABUSING YOUR CHILD.
comeon, just be helpful with your comments
