It's about time Fender started catching up with the rest of the guitar Manufacturers by offering stainless frets. But from a $$ stand point they sure are proud of those frets. I just sent my 98 Strat in to be refretted with stainless. 200$ more than nickel. Fender should offer this as a 200$ optional upgrade on all Strats. Keep up the good work my friend!!!
The frets, body carving, gen 5 pups, orig Floyd Rose and more over say an American pro II. Worth the money imo all day, even over the Ultra. Love my Ultra though! Next best thing to my Luxe, it has the gen 5 "vintage" noiseless and my Luxe the "Hot" gen 5 noiseless. They def needed to catch up on the heel and body carvings...and yes about time they offered stainless in at least one of their models, but they should offer it on more models and charge a premium as you stated. ruclips.net/video/3ONzcXuMu4A/видео.html
Do you still love the Ultra Luxe Floyd Rose HSS after the last 2 years? I am thinking of trading in my Strandberg Boden for one as I got to try one and the D shape neck felt very comfortable to me. I am just not sure how good the pickups are seemed ok but won't be able to tell until I get to play it on my current rig.
I think the pups are fantastic, the noiseless single coils are "hot" by comparison to other Fenders like my Ultra, It is very versatile for everything from country and blues to metal. Stainless frets, compound radius...and YOU PLAYED ONE! I love mine, ended up getting the Tele cousin Ultra LUXE HH which is my number one. Here's all the specs of you havent seen em. www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/StratAULFHRMB--fender-american-ultra-luxe-stratocaster-floyd-rose-hss-mystic-black-with-rosewood-fingerboard?mrkgadid=3251364864&mrkgcl=28&mrkgen=mpla&mrkgbflag=0&mrkgcat=guitars&acctid=21700000001645388&dskeywordid=92700046997870912&lid=92700046997870912&ds_s_kwgid=58700005286965679&ds_s_inventory_feed_id=97700000007215323&ds_a_cid=405527921&ds_a_caid=9238738473&ds_a_agid=94108774299&ds_a_lid=pla-870891161953&dsproductgroupid=4581664953824899&product_id=StratAULFHRMB&prodctry=US&prodlang=EN&channel=Online&storeid=&device=c&network=o&matchtype=e&adpos=largenumber&locationid=&creative=&targetid=pla-4581664953824899&campaignid=283268300&awsearchcpc=1&gclid=2be60e599c1c1a72b67168ee22ac0fe2&gclsrc=3p.ds&msclkid=2be60e599c1c1a72b67168ee22ac0fe2&Shopping%20-%20Core%20-%20Guitars&Guitars%20-%20Electric%20Guitars
@@whitebeardguitar you sold me ha ha I am going today to get a used one in great condition for $1620. Has a small chip in the headstock otherwise perfect and has all documentation, tools, and case.
Defintely subjective, my recording device (gopro) at the time was inconsitant at best, sound is kind of thin/tinny sounding in this vid to me(esp at 1 am when i have to record at very low vol)...is that what you're referring to? (sounded good to me in the room lol) Care to elaborate? Anyway it def is not the guitars fault! I finally broke down and a cpl weeks ago got the Zoom Q8N cam, def getting better audio...video not so much. Appreciate the truthful critique. Peace
@@whitebeardguitar well, i hear more acoustic sound than the amped signal. I would not record with mike but send the amp-signal to the recorder´s input. It works with most dig. cameras. Greetings, Peace!
@@mlo-on-soundcloud no dirct in the gopro but i got a zoom q8n 4k with direct and getting better results, still experimenting but should hear a drastic improvement,, the backing track is just a bit loud but i think the overall sound isn't "terrible" anymore! lol...I actually have gotten better results with the gopro, esp if i recirded at highr volumes...but hit or miss because i wouldn't know until i uploaded it...the zoom actuall has level bars in a little screen. hope ya dig it , which is what i am repeatedly staring at... ruclips.net/video/rj8OSJmv1MM/видео.html

BTW...the pick ups are the least and easiest mod practically...on a $2800 guitar the pups are minor...it is more about the playability.
