I have Pluto in my 12th house and I went through an intense spiritual awakening five years ago where I had to realized that I needed to have faith by surrendering to Source. I’m confused. How do you have Pluto in 12th house if your ascendant is also Scorpio? Scorpio ascendants have Scorpio as their 1st house, right? This would make our 12th house Libra, where my Pluto is.

One of the best Pluto 12th house interpretations I’ve heard. I have Pluto conjunct my North Node 3 degrees from the ascendant in my 12th and I have always felt like a very very old soul and like maybe this was my last, or close to my last incarnation. This was extremely helpful! I have pluto in the 12th in Scorpion.. I had all those fights with religion and faith, intern struggles, but at this time age, I have been working on being nothing, In my daily conversations out of blue I say something like: “I’m working on killing my ego and working on being nothing ....” , I stopped the fighting and the suffering and I am just letting the life guide me... During crises I’ve been unsettling calm (my friends don’t understand), and when I watched this everything started making sense. Got Pluto in the 12th house. I have found when I become too attached to something that I identify myself, I in time cast that thing aside. I have done it with being in a band as well as being an electrical leading hand. It's a painful experience at the time, but afterwards is liberating and a great learning experience.
My vedic birthchart also states that this is my final incarnation before returning to source, despite the vedics not including Pluto in their system.
I like what you said about utilising a faith to help guide. I was raised Catholic and went to Catholic schools. I saw many inconsistencies with people's beliefs, particularly between that of God and Lord god. Through music that resonates with me I eventually found gnosis, via Bruce Dickinson's (singer from Iron Maiden) album, Chemical Wedding. It's a concept album based on the works of English artist William Blake. Astrology and tarot are also concepts within the album.
I have recently found a multitude of popular rock songs that all share themes from gnosis, as many rock bands have masonic associations. Rock has a history of satanic panic, but I feel this is a half truth. While the devil is often a central theme of many songs, the songs are not justifying the devil. Instead the songs are trying to create understanding of the nature in which the devil, the god of this world, came into being, perhaps to give the devil what it lacks in order to become complete and transmute evil into good.
Funnily enough there are songs that mock the devil being blind to him/her self. These include "can't you see" and "you ain't seen nothing yet". The devil is often described as either a baby, a boy or a girl.
This finally leads me to a final point, which is a bit of an objection to what you said about we all come from the same source. Zoroastrianism states there are essentially two types of beings. One type is active, but blind to divinity. The other is not yet active, but can see divinity. They believe the purpose of incarnation is to defeat evil through the process of death. If this is the case, perhaps a measure of this is the house Pluto is in. If us 12th house natives are closer to source, we would be the inactive. We cast aside ego to fully merge with the divine, but we can't judge the spiritually blind. Instead we should set the example for them, pave the path for them to walk. If another isn't acting to our high standards, it is easy to blame them, but the proper thing may be to blame ourselves for not giving them the correct example to follow. By placing blame upon ourselves, we keep the power to change the situation, instead of casting it to the wind and letting ourselves feel negative.

I follow true sidereal and Vedic astrology mostly but Ive been lookin at my Pluto lately. Pluto in the 12th house conjunct Moon in Libra, I am Scorpio ascendant (Vedict). Venus is also in the 8th house so I tend to feel and dive into everything very deeply. I had a spiritual awakening almost two years ago and went through an ego death. I am committing my whole life to my spirituality and life purpose now, whatever that may be. I have been through a lot in my life and I am learning to surrender and just let go. Losing my mother definite led me there. I love this video, surrendering is the only way to find yourself fully.

I have Pluto in the 12th in Leo, also conjunct my Ascendant, and It is very challenging... I'm at a point were I am not attached to anything, nothing matters (the universe is so vast.) I appreciate what you said about it being like standing on the edge of eternity ("The Fool" card in Tarot.) My ego has been battered all my life, hard lesson to learn... but non-attachment, ego-dissolution has taken the joy out of living, my heart is empty... my comfort is in darkness and silence. The things that motivate other people seem so pointless, my Grandmother used to say she never saw a U-Haul behind a hearse. I am just tired... tired of being let down, tired of being misunderstood, tired of all the BS. Sorry, didn't mean to sound so despondent... at least I'm learning to master my thoughts.

lol it's so funny because I have Pluto in the twelfth in my ascendant (Sagittarius) but I also have Chiron the wounded healer within the twelfth house (in Scorpio though). Thanks for this, Tan. It didn't immediately resonate, but after watching a 2nd time, and the more I think about it, the more it really does, although I don't agree with all of it. I definitely recognise a lot of my experience in many of the points you mentioned, although maybe you didn't capture the *intensity* and *depth* of feelings involved. Or maybe these are intensified in my case, because Pluto is my Chart Ruler and I have a fair amount of Pluto & Scorpio so I'm very intense anyway. Add to that the fact that my Scorpio Saturn is also in 12H, and that both Pluto and Saturn Square my Venus, and then factor in the Virgo MC - The intensity of the guilt and self-hatred, especially when I don't live up to my impossibly high ideals, (which is always, given that I'm only human lol), is a little crazy, even leading to my being suicidal at one point - thank goodness I managed to crawl my way out of that somehow! In fact, if I didn't take my own life, it's due to my belief in Reincarnation, and not wanting to be reborn into another equally awful or worse existence to continue to learn the Karmic lessons that I refused to face in this and previous lives.
And yes, Astrology is such a great way to connect to one's Spirituality! It's how I reconnected to mine after so many years of blocking it out. Anyone who begins to truly study Astrology can nevermore deny that we have some kind of purpose in existing, and that what might appear to be chaos is actually a perfectly orchestrated inter-stellar dance!
It's actually strange that I managed to block out my Spirituality for so long, because I was a natural born Mystic from the earliest age. I'm not sure whether the following is indicated by my 12H Pluto, or by my Pisces IC which Squares my Sagittarius EP-S.Node-Uranus-Eros [the focal point of a Kite, Trining my Moon as part of that], or my Neptune-Jupiter, or the various Aspects to my 8H Vertex by Pluto, Neptune, Moon, etc, or some other Placements, (and surely not helped by the lack of Earth in my Chart, making it extremely difficult for me to stay grounded), but from my earliest memories age 3 until about age 6, my Soul just didn't want to stay in my body - I was spontaneously Astral Projecting multiple times per day/night! Then the OBEs gradually tapered off until my last one aged about 12. Lots of other weird experiences too - premonitions, epiphanies, etc. Ranging from abjectly terrifying, to indescribably beautiful, mystical and euphoric. I'll probably never know whether these were due to a neurological condition such as TLE, a psychological response to the sexual & sadistic abuse I was undergoing, or simply Spiritual experiences. I also had terrible recurring nightmares every single night throughout those years - again, whether due to Pluto and Saturn in 12H, or due to the trauma, is a matter of perspective I guess. And although I no longer have the recurring or any other kind of nightmares, (my mind trained itself to become lucid whenever a nightmare happens, and to change it, or I just wake up), I still to this day have trouble sleeping, and as you said, I have to be completely sleep deprived to actually fall asleep. Something you didn't mention is the phobias. Again, in my case trauma induced, but I would imagine that anyone with Pluto or Saturn in 12H would have a high probability of experiencing those, one way or another.
When I was 8, my grandmother died, and my mother shamed me for lighting a candle for her Soul, and made me get rid of it. My mother is a staunch Atheist, even though she married a Priest, [Anglican, hence allowed to marry], lol! There's a long history of Religious Fanatisicm on her side of the family, and the use of those Religious beliefs to justify abuse, including by her mother, so I can totally understand why she would be freaked out by that. Maybe I was also involved in perpetrating some of that Religious abuse in a past life, [Sagittarius S.Node-Uranus Rx, Neptune Rx, Jupiter Rx, 12H Scorpio Saturn, 12H Pluto], hence in this life learning to use the transformative power of Spirituality in a healing rather than in an abusive way? Anyway, after that I tried to hide my Spirituality. When I was 11, my father, the Priest, became the 3rd pig to sexually abuse me - I went off Religion & Spirituality altogether for a while. (Except when I was 13 I became a Satanist for a year or so lol, but it was an act of rebellion rather than a true belief.) Then when I was 15, in the days of dial-up internet, I stumbled across SpiritWeb - the chatrooms there were such fun, anyone remember that place? I discussed various forms of Spirituality with lots of different people, practised esp exercises with others, and then someone guided me through a meditation in which my main Spirit Guide introduced himself. At around that time I also taught myself self-hypnosis, and was using it regularly. I thought about becoming a hypnotherapist as a career. When I was 19, I was afraid I was becoming hooked on self-hypno and Spirituality, and living in an artificial bubble of 'everything's beautiful man, feel the love', so I stopped the self-hypno, stopped communicating with my Spirit Guide, stopped the weed, because that wasn't helping either lol, and again completely blocked out my Spirituality. (As usual, from one extreme to another, in typical Scorpionic/Plutonian style lol.) So I went back to reality, which sucked, and it's been a pretty crappy ride since then - I really could have used at least a little Spirituality tbh. Presciption opioids soon blocked out *everything* - reality, feelings and intuition. Fast forward to last year, I was able to begin tapering off the opioids, and it all started to come back. I was drawn to Astrology, which then brought my Faith and Spirituality back, along with some of my intuitive abilities, though not at all on the same level as when I was a kid, (although I'm still on pretty high doses of opioids, so maybe once it's all out of my system my 'psychic' side will be turbocharged again - I'm a bit ambivalent about my abilities though tbh, as it can be pretty scary). And since I'm also able to think and feel again, I've been working through all the crap from my past, trying to heal on many levels. (Note: It's interesting that the opioids [Neptune] are for extreme lower back pain [Scorpio].)
OK so there's my story, or at least the parts that I think relate to Pluto & 12H stuff. I'm sure it's no coincidence that in my Chart, Pluto & Neptune energies are blended in a number of ways: Pluto in 12H; Scorpio Rising in Neptune Decan Semisquare Neptune; 8H Sun in Neptune Decan of Cancer Square 12H Pluto; Pallas in Pluto Decan of Pisces Biquintile Pluto; Neptune Sextile Pluto, (I know that's generational, but mine has an extremely tight Orb, and both Planets are on the Anaretic 29°, as well as being the Rulers of my IC and Ascendant respectively).
Sorry for the long, rambling post! Just one other thing I'll add: I don't believe that this is my last incarnation, and I hope it's not! I worry that it'll take me this whole life to heal myself, so I'll need another life to then apply what I've learnt to help others to heal. I really want to help others, [Virgo MC], but right now it would just be the blind leading the blind. This saddens me, so please don't tell me it's my very last life! That I'm an Old Soul, I will concede, but I still have so much to learn, and more specifically, I need to learn how to apply what I know intuitively into some real, practical, tangible form, to help myself and others [Scorpio 12H Saturn; Pisces IC -> Virgo MC Square Sagittarius 1H S.Node-Uranus -> Gemini 7H N.Node-Chiron; Virgo MC Trine 2H Neptune-Jupiter + Sextile Pluto; Pluto at apex of Golden Yod involving N.Node-Chiron + Pisces Pallas]. Even if you tell me that my desire to bring my Spiritual beliefs and abilities into practical application to help people to harness their unconscious to heal themselves on a Soul level is just a dream/illusion, *I don't believe you.* I take comfort in the fact that Pluto is not too close to my Ascendant, (about 14° away, unless we're using Whole Sign, in which case it would be 1° away yikes!) so there's hope that I'll get another ride on the Merry-go-round. It was a relatively accurate and interesting video nonetheless - thank you.
Btw, if anyone's wondering why on Earth someone with strong Scorpio/Pluto would divulge so much personal info about themself, I would *never* have done so until about a few months ago, but I'm forcing myself to open up as part of my healing process, (plus it's relatively annonymous, so safe-ish, though the next step will be f2f).

In the dream his voice faded away as he was saying that and i said the exact words he said like I already knew exactly what he was going to say. My pluto is conjunct uranus in my 12th. when I first started learning astrology i was told my soul could have retired but i chose to come back again...I love life and being a Mother and helping people but I know mylife is not about me?? I have this placement. Pluto in 2°41' sagittarius conjuct 4° sag ascendant. I feel always confused between wanting to surrender everything to the divine power and wanting to take control of my life and feel like it is wrong when I lean in a particular direction, but I didn't find that perfect balance yet. I don't know when I should take action and when I should take nonaction. I have Virgo midheaven with northnode, Venus and Mercury in Virgo 10th house. So I feel really bad when doing nothing or no trying to control. And then for a while I try to surrender when things don't go as planned but then I again feel like I should be doing something. How to achieve balance? How to understand what I should do or not do?

Although, I have Saturn in 8th Pisces, I think it radiates similar energy with Pluto in 12th, even though it is crystallized. 8th house is symbol of re-birth, death, like Pluto, while Pisces is like 12th house, escaping reality.
