$1200 gross/week for an experienced driver is pretty shit for flat bed.
👀👀
He seems like a really nice guy I’d love to be his friend.
20 sumn years at meltom, damn i feel bad for him
They never payed me for 1 week of bust ass orientation I asked them for my pay and said they won’t pay me bc I was being terminated from orientation for hitting the bottom rubber of a cone while doing maneuvers mind you this happened 2 days before but they wait until end of orientation week to tell me
I work for Melton and trust me it’s a good company but the pay ain’t shit. It’s a starter company. Get your experience then leave
That’s all I wanted to know. They pay more than Western Express even thought of. And if he says he doesn’t sit on loads then I believe it. Only reason why I left Western.
Thats literally all i’m doing, i cant do a year here lol 6 months and i’m gone 😂
Yes sir
I did a melton year good starter company for experience. If you do 10 years they will give you a jacket an a extra box on your truck
what a nice guy
I worked for Melton o average about 600-800 a week most of all the old heads like this dude snitch on everybody else
Dude you need coveralls 😜✌️
The running rabbit is a good company.
I hope this man don’t get fired because of you. You should have blurred his face and truck number. Also, shame on you for trying to down this man for doing a job. If he chose to stay with a company that pays him that rate, then that’s on him. Do you think you’re better than him? Because in the eyes of 4 wheelers, you ain’t nothing but a shitty truck driver just like him. You get the same amount of respect as he.
HE NOT GOING TO GET FIRED FOR WHAT HE TALKING WHAT HIS EXPERIENCE AND PAY THIS IS A POSITIVE VIDEO NOT A NEGATIVE VIDEO
I seen a melton driver tarp a load of interior steel going to Florida. Took him about 3 hours. F that
I usually take an hour +- on a load of lumber. If it's aluminum extrusions takes a bit longer. 30 more minutes I'd say.
1200$ gross ? With 1,000,000 miles wow go local dude what you do otr for crap pay. Swear these companies haul cheap freight and can’t pay there drivers this is what’s wrong with the industry.
I work for Melton now. Pay could be better tbh
Yes it can I’m leaving next year
What would be better cause I see people starting out making 70k
@@mauricemotors8207 just wondering at Melton they making 70 grand starting out ?
Look at him hes a mess , and so tired he cant make sence. I was a melton driver. A blue knight 4 year driver . I frove 70 hrs a week and pen wipped 20 hours of labor. Drivers please dont get into situations where you loose sleep. Or do more work than you can handel.
I was there 4 months an quit. I’ve seen drivers pull into their terminal unload there stuff an drove off. That’s the worst company to drive for an they don’t pay enough for that shit
Thought i was the only one
@@SL-fh7yv yep just quit today bye meltom
Some just don't want you to b there melton is not 1200!
All big companies are crap- I’m with a small company and am Getting paid well compared to yours 1200 weekly tops , not even that -
Hell naw the hell with Melton
All they do is tarp every load
Yep! I had to tarp a forklift
He doesn’t work for Melton Truck Lines. He works for Must Tarp Load/MTL
He doesn’t work for Melton Truck Lines. He works for Must Tarp Load/MTL
Lol facts
They suck, they lie and pick and choose who they want on their company. You can do all their bs bootcamp training and they'll let you go for no reason. They will make up a reason. And they don't pay all that.
Fight to get paid, I did!
Melton is a good company but for the pay it ain’t worth it. hard work that’s required on flatbed doesn’t match the pay. Main reason I left.
Now I work for Schneider on tanker Division and make the same (slow week) or more than him. I only have nine month of experience that should say it all.. I go where the money is at.
You're doing good,at Schneider trucking, ? they keep you busy in the tanker division, can you stay out 3 to 6 weeks at a time ? is the pay decent ?
@@Mike-fo7jo .
To answer your questions
they keep you busy in the tanker division? Yes
can you stay out 3 to 6 weeks at a time? stay out for 4 weeks and one week at home.
the pay decent? yes, in account I'm in I have guaranteed pay. move or not i get paid. if exceed my guaranteed pay I keep it.
keep in mind every account is different. it all comes down to your home address what is available in your area.
account I'm in its call jet set. meaning they fly out where they need me to for four weeks. get fly back home for week off.
I don't get paid for the week off but at time there was a 10,000 sign up bones which they are paying throughout 12 months.
it makes up for week I'm off. I highly recommended if you want do tanker
training is excellent.
once you get the experience you look for another company that pay better but requires tanker experience.
hopes this helps.
