Great videos but when I search for Xplore file manager it says unavailable, what do I do?
You might need to sideload it, if you can't find it in the store.
Will it transfer favourite as well from a movie app?
I am afraid it will only transfer the app not the settings or favourites, sometimes apps give you a backup option, you might be able to use that if the app has that option.
I don't have 2 TVs to do this task. Can you advise why the new Firestick is showing the GREY ICON instead of the App name - for sideloaded apps? Thanks
I am sorry to hear that, I am not sure what Grey Icon you are referring too can you give me the time in the video that you saw this.
@@cwtek1 Hi there, it wasn't specifically in your video but I have downloaded third-party Apps and the Grey Icon shows instead - e.g. Xumo Play, BBC iPlayer, ITVX. They are all Grey when I download them from Downloader/ Hope you can help please.
@@groppo8 If this is one of the newer Fire TV sticks the 4K 2nd gen or the 4K Max 2nd gen then this is a known problem at the moment there is no fix for it but hopefully Amazon will fix the bug soon.
You could sideload the app called app starter and inside it it will show all your icons just like a launcher or install a launcher.
Thanks alot worked for me on older firestick no problem. But not the latest firestick 4k max 16 gb one. It wouldn't work.
I have the same problem with 4k Max. It transfers fine on ES but nothing shows up in Downloads on X Plore :(
@@TojoPage I just bought a max and am wondering if they all won't download or what?
I followed the instructions but when I go to the new Firestick there is nothing in the download folder. I repeated the steps & it does appear to be there as it asked to overwrite the file which I did in case the file was corrupted. Again, I go to esloader and click on Download folder & nothing happens. Any idea how to get the the copied app installed? TY
Perhaps restart your new stick after copying the files then go back to the download folder, also make sure there are no filters switched on in the program you are using to view the download folder.
It’s not working when I click send by LAN.
Your method is great....but it does not work as simply as you say in Feb. 2024, as you have to sign up for a monthly subscription or they refuse your free trial.

I found a December 15, 2021 video on a different method to clone a firestick on Tanya’s @FireTVSticks RUclips channel. Her video is at ruclips.net/video/CCgM2IWpUyU/видео.html
It is an alternative to the method described by Chris Waite in his September 29th video on how to transfer side loaded apps. To put it succinctly, his method uses the Wi-Fi to transfer the APK files between firesticks, but requires two TV sets. Tanya’s method uses an OTG adapter and a USB flash drive to accomplish the transfer mechanically, and only requires one TV set.
