Thanks for another video Gary. Sorry about the lather comment the other day. If I have learned one guiding principal that works for me it is that finding the optimum razor/blade combination is 90% of this shaving game. This week I have used Rocky Mountain sandlewood cream, Rockwell Barbershop cream, Proraso green hard soap and Proraso red cream, TOBS Tobacco leaf and finally Trumper Eucris (my favorite). All gave me fantastic shaves. I discovered that feather blades give me a stinging alum block shave while Astra Green is the Goldilocks blade for me. On my Rockwell T2 I now use #4 for the first two passes and #2.5 for the final ATG. Higher numbers just leave me with a sore face. I am interested in trying that Cella and as I live in Quebec shipping with Canada post should be something I can afford. I will send that e-mail! Thanks again.
Great shave and great video Gary. Congrats Daniel on winning the block of Cella soap. It's good stuff. I am a firm believer in the 2nd amendment of the US constitution. One shot, one kill. I don't think your lather is too thin. It just looks thin because it's a hot lather shave.
Well in my opinion Gary I think you are an expert with the lather! It's all in the preference, back in the day I liked a really heavy lather but now i'm enjoying a thinner but slicker lather. Great shave and congrats to the winner!
Thank you Gary!
Cheers Dan!
Great shave Gary! Your videos always put me in a good mood. Nice work. Have a great weekend.
Thanks, that is kind of you to say so! Cheers!
